notice the hairstyle, and think back to the male mesmers that you have seen in game.
You will also notice that he is holding a cane, and an inscribed chakram if you look very closeley.
Notice his casting stance on screenshot one.
In the second screenshot, he has blurred out the skills that he has casted on himself, it is approximateley 4 skills. While having these four skills, he has 4 energy regeneration and 6 health regeneration, also, in the first screenshot, he appears to have what may be the same 4 skills "enchantments/skills/hexes" with the same 4 pips of energy regen. The health regen, may just be from recovery time, so do not be fooled as to him automatically being a monk with breeze or a ranger with troll.
Just a few suggestions to think about......

I really doubt that the OP was photoshopped or anything, and whatever hes doing, lets just wait it out. Has Witte Was ever dissapointed before? Full tyria solo(not complete, but still impressive), and taking over the "Solo Farming:Lists of Builds" thread from Hero Yamaguchi or something like that. I have full confidence in whatever this is. Btw, is this the whole tombs solo, or jsut the first part?

Witte Was has almost completely Solo'd ALL of Tyria. I can suspect that when he's done with tyria he'll move onto Cantha. But it's sad to say that he photo shopped, of all people. Sad really.

- I didn't use photoshop or any other photo-editing program. - I'm indeed playing the Mesmer profession. I'll add my two speculatory cents. :-)
Shadow-Hunter said in a different thread that he was nearly successful with the Rit/Me VwK build but that he kept getting interrupted. Although there is a big difference in VwK at 16 Restoration and at 12, there really isn't anything in the build that is Ritualist-dependent (ie. no Spawning Power skills). So maybe Witte just switched things around and went Me/Rit so that he could get through the interrupts with Fast Casting (and maybe he added Mantra of Resolve/Concentration). I don't know if 3 VwK at 12 Restoration would be enough damage in TOPK, so maybe he added some other damage tweak.

First off, pop up wurms are an easy way to get killed without being able to do anything about it. However, if you aren't already aware, standing beneath a bridge will often freeze the wurm directly above the bridge, and it wont move or burrow. Second, they start to run balanced builds later, with, banished dream riders/terrorwebs in the same group as a scythe/grasp, so make sure you aren't relying on different battle tactics for each group. Third, the seige wurms will kill you iff you can't dodge the attacks or interrupt. Fourth, if you dont have spell immunity, remember, the darknesses have backfire and diversion, much more difficult than banished and scythes.

After completing this and my Tyria Solo Guide, Cantha is my next challenge

Nobody said it's an easy farm. Lots of people won't farm there because they don't want to, and lots won't because they can't. It would take something much bigger to make ecto's drop to nothing.

ROFL!! The greens that drop from ToPK have been worth very little to nothing for a long time. As for ectos, they hardly drop compared to in UW. Assuming you can solo ToPK, it will probably take you a loooooooooong time. An 8 man B/P group usually takes about an hour to get through or less (depending on how good of a pug you find). Generally one or two ectos drop in the entire run. A solo/duo Uw run can be done in half the time of a B/P group doing a ToPK run and generally has about 1 or 2 ectos drop depending on your luck.
What then would the point of soloing this area be in my opinion? Respect. Something you'll never get by trying to surpress the community's sharing of knowledge out of greed. As XvArchonvX said, the greens have been worth about nothing anyways and ectos hardly drop in Tomb anyways anyways, and if the prices of ectos did drop, I'd be glad, so then i could get some FoW armor way cheaper then it is right now

Well seeing how its a Mesmer 1st Prof.. The i still think that my Old teroi could be the one in use.. Altho Echo Shadow Form or something could be used.... But im pretty very sure that its a Assa or Rit 2nd prof.. Cus none of them are affected by Fingers Of Chaos..

From where he is standing in the first screenshot, it looks like he is using a similar build to the UW solo one he did. It looks like he's using the wall so only one grasp of insanity can attack him, so he can use signet of midnight on one while the other/s cant attack at all.

Use vengeful weap against foes without hexes. Play around with it. I fear there may be too little healing in there though. Im 100% sure it doesnt work against Terrorwebs.

mesmers have always dawned over other professions imo, they are capable of things no other profession can even dream of, counter any profession, a skill for about almost anything, hell in the beginning, almost every profession that had 4 energy pips was mesmer secondary
