Odd Question re: Factions to Proph.

I just got my 55 N/M to level 20 last night. I have been to Prophecies via Lion Arch and have from LA to ToA and the other direction to Beacons then down to Droks.

My question is... I want to get to Elona Reach area so I can farm down there. What would be the best route to take? I went to Drok's looking for quests sending me down that direction but I think because I haven't done/recieved and pre-requisite quests in towns before Drok's I cant get any.

Do I need to start questing out of LA and do missions to get down to Elona? Any tips on where to pick up the story so I can get quests? thank you much

You need to do Sanctum Cay mission to get you to the desert, sorry no other way,as far as i know.

From Lions Arch or ToA you can find a runner to Sanctum Cay. Sanctum Cay is a mission town and is the only way to the desert.

The reason you can't get to the desert from droks is because droks comes after the desert in the normal play path.

You could just follow the mission path out of LA which will be good practice for you.

8. D'Alessio Seaboard
Lend aid to the White Mantle in their fight against the undead. Protect Confessor Dorian.
9. Divinity Coast
Administer the Test of the Chosen and lead them to Loamhurst.
→ Travel from Druid's Overlook to The Wilds (Quest: A Brother's Fury).
10. The Wilds
Hunt down the Shining Blade, and rescue the Chosen they have kidnapped.
11. Bloodstone Fen
Seek the truth about the White Mantle and what they are doing to the Chosen.
→ Travel from Quarrel Falls to Henge of Denravi (look at a map it is a long hike) Take Quest in city: Passage Through The Dark River).
13. Riverside Province
Steal the Scepter of Orr from the White Mantle.
14. Sanctum Cay
Deliver the Scepter of Orr to Vizier Khilbron and escape the White Mantle.

You will be at Desert after this

Play the way you want and- enjoy! It's pretty easy to find a runner to Sanctum Cay from LA.

But just a warning, rushing trough the game will quickly make it boring. Take some time and play the missions, some of them are really fun. Especially Aurora Glade and Riverside.

P.S. If you've already done the Tyrian missions ignore the above paragraph.

I actually did the entire game from Ascalon to Hell's Precipice back way before Factions came out. My W/N is actually logged out there right now. So... I have enjoyed the game the way it was meant to be played, etc. I just got Factions upon coming back to the game 2 weeks ago and want to get my new N/M down to the Elona area.

you can get a runner from LA to sanctum with a stop in TOA

Thanks, Maria. I actually ran from LA to ToA to Fisherman's to Sanctum tonight. I mapped it out with my character that had been there and just went for it. I only died 2 times too
