Actually I think it's guild rating, not rank. Rank is just there to show you how your rating compares to the other guilds.

I'm leaning towards Red's statement, myself. It seems to be guild rating, because rank would shoot up a rating guild of 5000 if they beat a guild thats in the top 100. It doesn't work this way, which makes me believe it's all based off rating.

I thought rank = rating?

Isn't rank based off the rating...

The one with the most rating is rank1 the one with second highest rating is rank2 and so on. Dunno if its based on rank or rating, but my guess is rank.
