Pinging Health and Energy

This isn't working for me or one of my fellow officers anymore. Anyone else notice that too? We can still ping everything else. I'll report it after this run if others are having the same problem.

Not working for me either.

Also in 2 UW runs I couldn't find a chest. Not anywhere near smites, in the chamber, or near the mayor/colds past him.

uw dosnt always have chests in dual runs

Out of roughly 100 dual runs I've done I've never failed to find a chest. At least with exceptions to the times I screwed up and died early on. Also I've never failed to find a chest in any trap group or full party group I've done. I realize they don't always spawn in the same place, which is why we went further than just the smites. The only place I didn't check was near the trapper worms so that is a possiblity but normally at least 2-3 chests spawn per map. Or so I've normally found.

Anyways I reported the pinging problem. I guess if the chests are really an issue it will be brought up later. It is possible that it was just a wierd 2 runs, seeing as the first I got a ruby, and the 2nd we had 3 ecto drop from our first 2 smite groups.

i did 100 uw runs in my first week of a 55 monk... and i seriously doubt 2 runs is a big enough test to say there are no chests spawning

eh well most 55/SS groups stop right after they kill the smites. My guild mates and I don't, which may have alot to do with it.

well considering its the first 2 runs out the 100 or so I've done without chests spawning. Not to mention it happened right after an update.... just saying

You people do realize there is always a fixed number of chests per map? There is always 5 chests in the Deep, I've always found 3 chests in Grenths footprint, can't remember if its 2 or 3 in Whitman's. I'm not sure the exact number in UW because I never go near the trapper worms and I know the chests show up there sometimes.

The # of chests is fixed its just where they are and whether they are gold or purple that is random.

exactly there is a fixed number of chests and spawn near similar locations... maby they were in the part you didnt go...?

and like i said doing 2 runs in uw isnt really a valid test to say chests arnt spawning

im not saying its not possible i mean come on how long did it take before people realised keys werent dropping in uw anymore >_<

Went to the Uw straight after the update and came across two chests, the usual one ontop of the hill in the corner in the iced wastes where the second dying nightmare hangs out and a lucky one at the icewastes reaper. (didnt go to the vale though)

There is not always chests in the Icewastes or Forgotten Vale. I have done many runs over the last year and a bit where there have been none in those two areas.

This is meant to be a dicussion about pinging HP and Energy, why the hack are we now talking about UW dual runs and chests

Get back on topic.

I can't say I've encountered a problem where I couldn't ping my energy, but I haven't been online for about 7 hours.

*looks around to see if RTSFirebat is looking and then whispers* but chests don't always spawn in the duo run area of UW, nothing strange there.

Why? Remove a great feature? I don't get it.

It's probably unintentional. Things of this nature have happened with previous patches. Although I hate it when this happens, ANet usually fixes it soon.
