Hello,
I am currently interested in a Pyromancer/Beastmasters build. I love dealing fire damage and having my pet tank. But I am having trouble making the perfect build. I play in Prophecies and i need help with what skills i should use and where to put my attribute points. Can anyone please give me suggestions?

Hi Benihana,

An unusual build. You want to get them to cluster around your pet (and not you) so deep freeze would be a good lead off spell. You don't need points in water magic, you just need the slow-down. The slowed monsters *should* target the closest enemy which *should* be your pet at that point.

Once the critters are clustered around your pet, you should be able to use spells like fireball to good effect. Don't cast TOO fast or use skills like firestorm because you'll make the monsters scatter.

I'll toss out a build for folks to poke holes in:

BM: 10ish
FM: 14ish
ES: everything else

Skills:

Frozen Burst
Fireball
Incendiary Bonds
Phoenix
Charm Animal
Comfort Animal
Call of Protection
Rez Sig

I used an Immolate/Scavenger Strike build in pvp before, was kinda neat.

a scavenger/immolate build works alright...

but what i love is this attack:

Ferocious Lunge/Strike? :
5energy, 8 cooldown
your pet hits for x...25 more damage and you gain 1...9 energy and X adr.

So... thats just a snippet of the skill i can remember, but its quite fun as you can increase your energy regeneration by almost 2 pips in total, and even with ~10 BM you can have +8 energy, (+3 energy net, every 8 seconds = ~1.33 pips) which also does damage to your foe, so its kinda neat.
