N/A...Would this work?

I had an idea for a modified toucher build
(yes I know i shouldn't be incouraging it)

just tell me if it would work or not and any suggestions

necro/assassin

16 blood magic
14 soul reaping
rest into shadow arts

use a 20/20 collector blood staff with a +5 and fortitude mod

wallows bite
touch of agony
vampiric bite
plague touch
caltrops (cripples foe and adjacent foes)
deaths charge (or some form of shadow step)
dash
Offering of Blood {e}

basic idea is to shadow step to target foe and lay down the touches, which would be alot more powerful with 16 blood, then u can cripple em depending on the prof ur fighting and wether they're running then if u get in trouble just dash away

for energy management, you could use OOB and soul reaping

what you guys think, i haven't tested it but I think it could work

Have you looked at Dark Escape instead of Dash.

I'm guessing you don't have access to Prophecies, since you don't have Vampiric Touch.

I see the following problems:

Sacrificing 10% health from Touch of Agony, Wallow's Bite and 20% for OoB.

You have 1 healing ability, 1 semi-healing ability (Death's Charge) and no real defenses.

You would not be as affective as a Touch Ranger is. Assassins and Warriors would be able to hurt you alot before you run away.

Depending on where you plan to use this build would determine whether or not it would be effective.

In general, no. Sorry, but I don't think as it stands it would be effective. From what I've heard about (I think) the Paragon, the skill "You Can't Touch This" will null your character to uselessness.

Problem is you can't afford to use Vamp Touch, and the touch skills you have in that bar don't heal you. You have less armor than a ranger combined with a lack of the self-healing that making touchers at all effective, not to mention the sac cost from OoB.
