Why aren't guild tags and capes unique? I've seen two people with the same tag as my Guild (which wouldn't bother me so much), and I even saw someone with the same tag and a cape identical to my Guild's, only instead of the green on my cape, they have gold.*
That second occurrence creeped me out a tad, since it seemed too much of a coincidence. Has anyone else had this problem?
* I began to wonder whether they had deliberately copied, but I don't understand why anyone would do that, since I would have thought everyone would prefer something unique, and besides, my Guild's not even remotely famous.

Well there are only so many possible cape combinations. It would be unreasonable to make a cape combination or tag completely unavailable cause one person out of 2 million already had that idea.

Well, My guild's (Ice Dragoons) tag seems unique to me (Drgn, my personal shortening of dragon) and my cape (light blue background, dark blue flames around the edges and a VERY light blue dragon as the icon) hasn't been copied yet to my knowledge.

With only 4 spaces and 26 options per space, that gives only so many combinations, and many are going to be used over and over.
My guild leader switched to the Japan territory and set up the guild using Japanese characters. Pretty good chances that we will never see another guild on the american servers with our same tag, lol.

as long as you know who your guildies are and who is in your alliance ( identified by the gold text in the tag ), it doesnt really cause major problems.
