At the end of Christmas event when Tomb of Primeval Kings changed it is because of the 6th god as you can see the vines in the picture which is actualy locks of his hair

I doubt that the fact that it mentions abominations will mean that we will be fighting a lot more afflicted, we may see some just for Anet's amusement at creating Afflicted Paragons/Dervishes, but I doubt we'd even fight a few... Anet has to realize that most people have kicked the Afflicted up one side of Cantha and down the other by now.

To the OP. If those are the banished gods hair then he clearly hasn't heard of shampoo. Perhaps its the banished god of bad hair days. Made Dwaynas hair frizzy and was banished forever. Now his shadowy power to bend hair is creeping into elona. Making hair frizzy and stringy all over.

if anyone recalls the mini quest from the dragon festival with the rift portal opening... the creatures were similar to the ones in the underworld... i believe we will see more of them...

i see how factions ties to nightfall but i still have to see how prophesies ties to nightfall....

Well, so far we got characters pulling along from Prophecy, as I've seen Devona in the newest movie.

Plus, the undead played a rather fair roll in Prophecies also.
