The skill "Can't touch this" brought me to the idea to come up with some skills based on music from the 80's & 90's. And since we've already got one (and one more is coming up) dances based on Micheal Jackson, I thought, "why not!"

Here goes:

[Ele] "Ice Ice baby": 15 energy, 2 cast, 30 recharge. Create a lvl ... Siege Ice Golem

[Mesmer] "Enjoy the silence": 15 energy, 3/4 cast, 30 recharge. Target foe is interrupted and cannot be healed for (2..11 seconds) 50% failure with Fast Casting < 12

[War] "Take on me" (stance): 8 adrenaline, 1 cast. When hit, it deals (8..22) damage to attacker. Attacker is knocked down and suffers weakness for (2..9) seconds

[Ranger] "Born to be wild": 10 energy, 2 cast, 45 recharge. For (3..15) seconds, pet deals fire damage. Targets are set on fire for (1..5) seconds.

[Monk] "Like a prayer": 10 energy, 1 cast, 15 recharge. Target ally cannot be afflicted by any mesmer or necromancer hex for (1..12) seconds.

Just some quick ideas. When I'll come up with new ones I'll post them

15e - 1/2 sec cast - 20 sec recharge
Send out a shockwave that interupts all oponnents and damages them for 40-120 dmg. This spell has 25% armor penetration.

"T.U.R.T.L.E power"-beast mastery,25e,2cast,instant recharge,summon a lvl 1-16 kappa for 30 seconds(can only have 1).

to tired to think of more i'll come back if i do.

"Stop, Hammer time!" warrior shout - 6a For 3-15 seconds your next 1-3 hammer attacks give you 1-4 energy.

"Smoke on The water" (I dont know when it was recorded, but it still rocks!!)
Water Magic

15e, 2 sec. cast, 4 sec. recharge
Target foe is blinded for 3-12 sec., and is then struck for 15-40 ice damage (or water damage, if water dmg exists)

"Lean On Me", Healing Prayers
Target ally is cured of 1 condition, 2 conditions if ally is dazed. Ally is also healed for 10...50 health.

"I Feel Good, So Good!", Warrior shout (elite)

10 adrenaline, 30 sec. recharge

You are cured of all condtions and are healed for 100 health.

"Lean on Me" should be "For the next #...# seconds, target ally can not be knocked down. Instead, whenever target ally would have been knocked down, you take #...# damage." Alternatively, it could just be that you are knocked down instead. It just makes a bit more sense, and is also a bit more balanced.

My suggestions for the first post would be changes to the Mesmer, Monk, and the Ranger skills.

Ranger: For the next #...# seconds, your pet attacks 33% faster and interrupts skills (including spells, hexes, etc, not normal attacks). Your animal companion has -# armor when using this skill.

Mesmer: Target foe is interrupted and cannot attack or be attacked for #...# seconds.

Monk: For #...# seconds, target ally cannot be the target of any hex spells.

Lastly, some guildies and I had an idea with the very same title as Saosi's "Stop, Hammer Time". Let me get a quote from our forums...

The only problem is that there is no downside to the skill to compensate for such a great skill. Perhaps, "All hammer mastery skills are recharged and fully charged with adreneline. After a hammer skill is used, it takes an extra 10...3 seconds to recharge."

Also, I think that just "Hammer Time!" would be better, unless you were to say, "You can not attack for 10...3 seconds. When this time ends, all of your hammer mastery skills are recharged and filled with adreneline."

That way, the "stop" has a bit of meaning to it.
I'unno whether yours would be better, or ours. :\

"Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?" Shout. For 5...10 seconds, you gain 2...6 damage reduction, but your attacks deal 6...2 less damage.

Elementalist - for the next #...# seconds, all female allies become extremely hot and are attracted by foes. Once enemies come within touch range, they get burned and killed instantly...

lol do these skills have to make sense?
