Wouldn't it be cool if we can see who previously owned out weapon/ off hand/minipet? It would look really cool seeing how it traveled to get to you...the one who originally found the weapon.

Example: WTS sword owned by Power Of My Ranger 250k!!!!

If a well known person owned the weapon people will only want to charge more for it.

BTW if you dont know who Power Of My Ranger is...he's a rank12 that use to get favor for europe all the time.

But thats my pont...its not pointless...if the user was famous...or you just wanna ask the original user some questions...

What questions do you need to ask other than the item stats, which you clearly see on mouseover?

Who owned it is of no practical use, and there are more fun statistics than that one, like how many kills a weapon made, an so on... but thats kinda pointless too.

It's not like you'd have to look at the list. If you don't care who the previous owners were, don't bother to look at it. No one's going to make you.

I think it's a cool idea. Not something I think is worth fighting tooth and nail for, or starting a petition over, but I wouldn't mind seeing it in some form.

Seems to be extra work. I also fail to see how it helps trading that much.

Yeah, and thats the point everyones been making: Its a bad thing.

You'd just have to become famous, even by just sitting around 24/7 (Sai of Winterland), and then sell all the crap weapons you come across.

The other thing is scams. You'd see people selling things like this:

"WTS FDS prev owner Bale Shadowscar!"

>"Whose Bale Shadowscar?"

"A really cool, very famous rank 19 with 10 sets of foW"

>"Coool! I'll give you 300k"

"Ok, here ya go"

>"thanks"

"hehe...sucker"

See? You really need to think this out better.

I wouldn't like it changing prices in any direction, and it would be discrimatory if a weapon was worth more if a 'famous' player owed it than 'some noob'.

I dont get the fascination with celebs (in real life too), worshiping them and stuff they own or do with absolutely no good arguments for that. :barf:
