What you need to do is keep closing GW and reloading it. It'll update quite a few times and then you'll have the new interface.

and what the -image thing does? why we need to add it?

Ok then, presumably the err50 is them shutting access to the servers from their side, and it will go away when they re-open them.

the -image thingy is for u to update n dl everything at one go without having to update in-game

well, I've just got the huge download, so it's time to start doing my maths work.

I should have time to finish before GW is back up.

It decompress the files so you won’t have to do it in game when you zone into a new map and take –image out after it is done then go play.

Do not panic guys, they are doing their best to get the update going.
And to explain the slowness its because tons of people are trying to download the updates now.
Even if you are on high speed then you will experience lag and such.

When Nightfall preview was out it took me ages to update the game. The next night I updated the other PC and was done in 5 minutes since there was no load on the servers.

Did a -image update and now I get a Err 50... Im playing on EU.

My main concern is that people have big updates and I don't...
Meh, I'll start worrying when lots of people are actually in and I can't get in...

OMg...I just figured it out. American servers can log on, but Euro servers cannot yet. I have 2 accounts, each on a diff server. So if you still have the ability to switch servers, w/o getting stuck there, I would suggest doing that.

Well now i know what i am going to feel like on Dec 28...tis when my first child is due to be born....god i had better stock up on the smokes cuz i am one anxious person
