No need to be curious, it's broke and they're trying to fix it.

Update: Progress is moving along. It doesn't look as if it will be too terribly long now. Please know that you will need to grab a new build, but the event will not start for a few minutes after you've returned to the game. Do not panic! The event will begin a little bit after the new build!

stay in touch gaile.... after a 12hour long trip from toronto to nyc from greyhound only thing that keeps me awake is hope... stupid cans of sprite zero even backstabbed with no caffine XD

Hey, if this were WoW, they would have released the weekend on time with the corruption in the archives and we would have been having massive problems for the first two days until they realized "oh wait, that corruption really does cause harm, hmm."

ANet's policy of getting it right the first time is what impresses me, even if I have to wait a few more hours.

Thank GOODNESS I didn't wait up until 3am last night though

I'd just like to quickly salute you all, Gail and fellow posters both - if this was any other MMO (and I'm thinking of the official forums of one in particular) then the excrement would have hit the rotating air moving device in a big way.
