Well, all of the Nightfall skills are at the priest now (12:47 CST). Don't know if they've been there or not, but here's what I've got to share for today:

On second thought.. cancel that. I'm logged in as my monk so these skills wouldn't make any sense at all (No ele attributes). I don't wanna log out or else I won't be able to browse anymore, not even going to risk zoning out of the area.

Zealous Return looks like it'll totally be used by Assassins. Revitalize looks like competition for boon prots (heh, a rev monk). Mending touch looks like a very strong skill, it'll make the wammos not so terrible.
Edit: Nevermind, I read Zealous Return wrong. I don't know, it's a strange skill to me, like a mix of Insidious Parasite and Spirit of Failure.

Gust of Healing is bad. There, I said it. Go, unlock it, and prepare to be underwhelmed.
Blinding Surge, on the other hand, is a really nice elite. If anyone figures out how to make an otherwise functional character with it let me know. =)

I'm seeing Gust of Healing vs. degen builds.
I could be missing something, but Reaper's Renewal seems ridiculously overpowered. You can basically run max divine+prot and take full-strength reversal/guardian/prot spirit in addition to a unconditional spike heal that's free if your target is below half. Uh .... okay.

Right after the RIT healing changes occured, I started running something very similar to this in TA -- I've been using Mind Shock as my Elite and then both Enervating Charge and Arc Lightning for the other two spots. Obviously TA is not the upper crust of the game but the build owns. The efficiency of all the spells is what makes everything work. You can spike great, you can back up the monk, and you've got a hard rez. With Blinding Surge it would work even better...I'll lose some spiking ability but have the ability to shut down multiple physical damage dealers.
I believe this could be a VERY viable spell for GvG or HA. If you're running the kind of team that often utilizes the Elementalist to spam blind, this spell provides that ability with more efficiency than Ether Prodigy + Blinding Flash and does damage and doesn't give you health hits or allow the opposing Mesmer to Shatter/Drain you.
The ability to be a Blindbot with excellent Spikes, Knockdowns, and Healing is a very potent offering to a split team and most any team in general. Yes it's something that can already be done, but hardly with this kind of efficiency.

Don't know how one can take out a room for blinding surge... unless there is a new nice energy skill we have yet to see... (thinking of "the power is yours" etc)

One more thing... I hope majority of the elites aren't conditional like these 2. I have a feeling that it will though.

If Blinding Surge had the damage of Lightning Orb or Lightning Hammer, that would be unbalanced. At 16 Air you can do 140 damage to a AL60 character. Creating Blindness and doing that much damage every 4 seconds with a short cast time would be very unbalanced.

U wont need energymanagement like e prodigy to keep the blinding up, aswith blinding flash. So this is pretty hawt..

The point is not that you can keep blinding surge up or not, it is whether you can do more than just blinding surge or not. Also to combat energy denial.

Umm....right now with Ether Prodigy + Blinding Flash you can't do much more than spam Flash if you want to keep two targets continually blinded.

i have seen an elementalist skill called "lightning bolt" being used by a monster. no idea what it does though.

If you want to do nothing but blind with an ele, Blinding Surge is excellent. If you want your character to do other things on occasion, emanagement is better. I think the skill is used best on a dom mesmer or something similarly robust that doesn't need his elite to function. After all, a Prodigy guy is a weaker blinder, but he can blind, or pump Parties, or chain snares. Blinding Surge guy can just blind.

Reapers Renewal looks like a WoH without an energy cost (if ally is below 50% health) and no elite status, overpowered if y'ask me, but hey, im not complaining!

Seriously... That one skill just replaced Essence Bond and Balth's Spirit combined (and you have an extra slot to use as well afterwards...). Then again, kinda depends on how fast you can spam it on everyone around you...
