Another funny build?

This time it is based on deadly art skills.

Iron Palm-Entangling Asp-Black Lotus Strike-Twisting fangs-Way of Perfection-Shadow Refuge-Mirrored Stance-Siphon Strenght.

You need superior rune of vigorous( +50 health) and +5 energy dagger


I play this build for AB and PvP,it is not for PvE.
You can change some of this skills for Ressurect

How to use?

Well,this is for 1 vs 1,you cant attack 2 at same time!!
Use Siphon strenght and Way of perfection for the beggining.Mirrored stance can be very usefull,that is funny skill here.
After that 2 skills,begin with your combo--I think you will not kill target,but he will have good degen....than if you need you can "run" away..if he/she use some running skill,he/she use Stance,but he have Mirrored Stance hex on him/her so you start run a long with him.

Only for stuff like AB and FA and JQ, you can leave your res home. For RA, TA, HA, GvG....RES SIG=WIN

I like Twisting Fangs.


However, watchout with mirrored stance. I know several sins that tried the prebuild ( during release ) wich had mirrored stance on me. I use frenzy. Gee Gee assassin.

It COULD work, Black lotus has a too much of a recharge time.

Yeah,20 sec....but that is almost no problem,if you are 1 vs 1,you have good defend,and this 20 sec recharge are fast, your foe have much degen and he/she will heal him/herself a lot.
20 sec is good,because you then dont tank

I'm willing to overlook a 20 sec recharge on a dagger attack that is 1) an off-hand and 2) ensures that you almost never have energy problems while using combos. Considering that most times, sins need to back off after unloading a combo anyway, 20 secs is nothing.

Nice build Nibiru, I see potential energy management problems here, even with Black Lotus (15 energy for Siphon Strength) but I haven't tested it personally, so I'm going to go with the assumption that you've got that covered ^^

It's just that I see alot of 10 energy req stuff in there. Also, you don't have any points in Dagger Mastery, so damage-wise, I don't know (I know you mentioned that you won't kill a target with it, just degen it, but all the same).

Also, just relying on the degen alone means that a monk can come along and remove it all, or a warrior with Purge Conditions (even if he isn't doing any damage to you because of Siphon Strength) will rid himself of it fairly easily.

Perhaps you might have to reduce a few attribute points, especially in Shadow Arts, to compensate for the lack of Dagger Mastery. As you've already got Shadow Refuge, you really don't need Way of Perfection.

I like the use of Mirrored Stance to catch ppl that always pack some form of speed boost, but IMO, it is still very situational, and you just might end up with the WRONG stance. You should consider putting something else there (maybe a speed boost of your own?).

It's a clever build, I really like it. It just needs to be tweaked a bit.

I have 4 in dagger XD......
Energy is not problem because:
a) Critical strike at 14
b)Siphon Strenght( i have additional 33% to score critical hit)

I always want have some funny build.
I had funny ele build,warrior,monk and assassin builds.


I like my builds,maybe they are not perfect,but when just 1 or 2 skills i find funny,i start invent build based on that 2 skills.
2 skills that are base here are Siphon strenght and Mirrored stance.I like knockdown,so i find this 2 another skills here,that was 4 skills.Than i loke for energy problem, found Black lotus strike very good ( off-hand).
Because I am assassin,I must do degen,so i choose Twisting fangs.
This another 2 i found very good healing,i do a lot of critical hits,so i choose Way of perfection,and Shadow refuge because you must have something like that because degen on you

The true problem for no dagger attacks is: How2find good daggers with that req???

Now, another thing that bugs me is, there are probably builds that outperform this build because they can do other stuff too. ( don't quote me, I'm drunk )

ok,i will not!
I have pvp daggers,i do 0-1 damage with them,but i am getting energy.....i said this is not perfect build,but it is different and i like it because all say something like " wtf?! " -sorry for this word
and yes,mesmers and necros WITH DEGEN build hurt me...a lot XD

now its a triple post X).... other than that i dont really like this build set up deadly arts most of the time seems pretty much useless..still i havent tried it but its not appealing to me

Build is good.In first moment i thought i will not do good damage,but when I tried, and now I am playing with it,i realized that this combo drop foe's health min. on half!
Energy is just not problem,I always have energy.
I know that people dont like deadly arts because they are hard to play,but I think this deadly arts build is very easy to use.

Many times a lot of players who start fight against my build started run,but they always in the end are dead.
How many times I helped a lot of my allyas knockdowning their target?

I will just say this: TRY IT!
