Each time that I submit a bid for an item, the bid goes through but I keep receiving the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes I also get auction site problems. About 66% of the time I do not get accces to a page the first time. I get the Server error 500 message.
This probably implies a server overload - too may page requests at the same time, and the server can not reply to all of them in time.
Usually I can get the page after 1 or 2 "refreshes". If you are using Internet Explorer, then sometimes explorer wont try to fetch the page at the third refresh - so you have to go back to the original link and try again from there.
If you are using Opera (highly recommended
) you can see the page request time out, and the reload will eventually work.
