That mesmer chalice in your pic is also from Prophecies, it's an alt skin of the normal Jewelled Chalice. It only drops in very low level areas (Pockmark Flats is the place I remember seeing them the most).

i've noticed that color of the old mes staff was changed alittle, old mes offhand looks slightly diff, and new scythes skins r just great

notice how all the warrior swords that have been found so far are all real unconventional apart from the fiery gladius which is based on a semi real world sword except on fire. i hope they do have some more authentic weapons included becuase personally i never liked those weird looking weapons.
also i wonder if this is a bug

I really like the Briar Scythe and the other Briar weapons. They are probably the Nightfall equivalent of the plagueborne weapons series. Im gonna get myself a Ebon Briar Scythe of Pruning hehe. Ive not seen very many swords that I like so far other than the Briar Blade. I like the Mechette skin as it looks the closest to a Gladius, to match my 15k glads armour. (Gladius ingame does not look like a gladius in RL) I hope they introduce the bronze colored sword on the left swordrack, 2nd from the right. That looks very nice.

Actually...a scimitar and machete are VERY conventional weapons. Sure theres some embelishments, but its all basically scimitars.
