It goes sargent, master sargent, lieutenant and captain.. i have no clue beyond that.
if anyone has info on the names of the other tiers that would be sweet

where did you get the other promotion points, i got up to 104 and cant find more quests. unless i have to advance to a new area, cause the only one I havent been too is way to high a level

talk to the npc's near shrine sthey give some sort of blessing wich give +1 point for each creature slain of a special race.

Yeah as the guy above me says the people at shirnes give you a blessing so you get one point and extra xp for killing a moster of the type the blessing is for.
So far I have seen people for plants, insects, scales and harpies(sp).
You can also have more than one blessing at a time I have had Plants, insects and scales all one me at once, lots of xp and lots of points.

there will most likely be those titles also, but they arent implemented for this weekend since were unlikely to be able to advance those tracks, whereas the sunspear titles unlock quests as well as the extra attributes.

Yep, Lt. Commander is followed by Commander at 1000pts, so I may do some of it every now and then as I make my way through the game, but I'm fine with Lt. Commander

The scouts stop giving you quests to farm sunspear points when you reach a certain point in the game (or level? or rank?). So if you really wanted to get high it might be best to do those quests a lot, and save the non-repeatable ones. But for all we know there could be an easy way to get sunspear points later in the game, we'll have to wait and see in October.
