I've answered probably over a hundred "How do I get to Nightfall?" questions this morning;
followed by "you mean I can't use this character?" with subsequent bitching;
followed by "you mean I have to delete a character? WTF?" and variations of that from rude to ruder;
followed by "you mean I have to create a new email address for the preview? THIS BLOWS!" or some variation of that.
Some simple, clear instructions on the Login screen would have been really smart.
Instructions should have been clearer or on Login screen

You've probably misunderstood him.
If your 6 Slots are full, the only option you have IS creating a new Account with that Access key from the website. So he has read it quite well but you're instead wrong here.

Bonuspack for those smartasses picking on every post :P
Of course you could also buy a new slot in the store, duh.

Silly question...
If you have no open character slots, where were you planning to store you newly created character?
I would think common sense would tell you...new character needs an empty slot.
There were instructions here
New account can't use same email address as an active account would be common sense too.
Too much Nightfall, Nightfall, Nightfall, Nightfall gotta play...must hurry....must hurry...faster...faster.
Slow down and get your wits about you and you will be fine

It wouldnt matter if it was in Neon Signs with text-to-speech voiceover... some people will still just obliviously log in and ask the same dumb questions over and over.
my advice? stay out of the pvp side of things because that is the area where you will find these people asking incessantly. Go to Elona where everyone obviously must have figured it out.

I didn't need clearer instructions...
My point was that ANET could have posted clear instructions on the Login screen - for morons. Earlier while hanging in Kaineng City and Lion's Arch, waiting for the heroes bug to be fixed, I must have fielded at least 100 questions of the variants I posted above. At first I was just trying to be nice and help, but then it got really annoying. Once they would finally get that they had to either create a new roleplaying character or setup a new account with the preview key, many were very rude... like it was my problem that they didn't have a free slot, couldn't visit the GW website nor simply open a hotmail account.
Maybe I was the moron for wanting to help out. Anyway, I was just venting.

I got that, Horseman; and appreciate the effort.
Some of the other responses seemed to misunderstand the intent of the original post, and I was responding more to the direction of the thread than to you specifically.
ANET's instructions were very clear... just not high profile enough or in a place where the non-forum lurkers traffic, it appears.

No matter how much they post it, where they post it, or how big the post the information, there still are going to be idiots that just overlook everything cause they're too lazy and ask stupid questions cause they don't have common sense. I suggest not wasting your time on people that don't have common sense to check out the official website and actually do some reading.
