Hi
after seeing the gorgeous hero windows (the ones with skills, energy health and the effects monitor underneath) i wonder why you can only bring them up for heros.
It would be so nice to be able to bring those boxes up for members of your team, as it would allow you to know when they were blacked out, low on energy, waiting on recharge, etc.
I suppose the only negative would be poeple chucking people out of groups for not ahving the right skillbar, but theyll do that anyway generally.

what i REALLY wanna see which is similar to this(sorry not trying to barge in on your wonderful thread ) is a thing similar to the hero bars for the pets. to put them on passive or something like that so you can tell them when to run away or fight. thats what i really want.
P.S i do think your idea is great and would REALLY help with party management. lol

I would like this option, it would be useful especially for monks, but a tainted necro could also benefit from this or other similar characters (Paragon probably also). If it's a concern that people will mock eachother in PvE with this, maybe make it optional for someone to allow the others to monitor his/her skills, or even make it PvP only, I would be happy even with that

Without the skillbar, I don't think anyone would disagree with this.

Yes, I would settle even with that, though even the skillbar, or more so the recharging status of some skills could yield useful info about team tactics, but if it would depend on that, I would still love it without a skillbar too

I like it. ^_^ Really help for me to know when some enchants come off some people.

Or to know WHICH hex a person has on them, so you know if it's worth stripping or not. Or learning how to play a certain class by watching how someone chains thier skills. The possibilities for coordination are astounding.
There's already room for trashing someone's bar with ctrl-pinging it to the team, a common thing when forming a pug, just so people know what to expect. Esp true w/ Rits and Rangers checking for spirit clash.
But, it would also seriously open up the possibly for "OMFG you're such a NOOB! why didn't you use skill X at that exact moment?" or "You suck at e-management!"

No. This game revolves around communication and you shouldnt be able to see your ally's skillbar, energy, what hexes/conditions/enchantments they have, and anything else, as that is what is supposed to be communicated to the party members and is what separates the good teams from scrubs

communication will continue to be an essential part for the success of a build even with the windows.
