Yup... Someone had one in my tombs party the other day. They look crap tbh. There's Male and female version... Called Lion and Lioness respectively.

~~you can now also have a Hyena as a pet located after the first outpost after you cross the first sulfuric place with the worms, can give a location later~~ the hyena laughs when you equip it as a pet, but it looks pretty nice its light brown and lightly spotted~~~

They are on the mainland, once you get to Vabbi and such they're all over.

Hekets charm level 15 alligators, but they always seem to charm them before it's possible to charm one yourself. There may be an exception somewhere though.

Elder Hyena - The middle bridge that runs North to South in Turai's Procession (there is only one there, this would be tricky to cap)

Has anyone tries to tame one of the River Drakes yet? I cannot think of any other reason there would be 5 little lvl 5 River drakes in an area full of lvl 22 and lvl 24 Drakes of different types.
