Its a very nice game i really loved the beta untill, "all Nightfall characters that players have created and all Nightfall items they've acquired will be removed from participating accounts, and the Nightfall content will be removed from the live servers. So, don't miss out!" - What the heck is good about that? Dont they think they get more Nightfall`s sold if they aint delete the characters after the beta? I think many people dont know that characters/items will be removed tomorrow, and they think "Baah, i farmed, exped and played like a real geek to be one of the highest lvl char when the nightfall realease is, now i dont got the same feeling to buy nightfall" My opinion is: If the characters/items wouldn`t be deleted Me and more peoples look forward to play on that character that you made on the beta when you see it in the Character-screen and think "wow i must buy nightfall couse i really want to play on that character now"
I stopped play the beta when i saw this about the delete, i came to lvl 12 and i dont want to waste more time on a character that will be deleted.
Thanks for me, Please put ur agree/decline opinions!
Nightfall beta a joke?

A Beta is a Beta. Quite simply.
It was made clear from the beginning that this preview event is still a Beta. And Betas include Bugs, Errors and Glitches. Some may harm the players while others might benefit from them. Think along the lines of duping bugs, unlimited experience points, unlimited amounts of gold etc etc etc. Would you like to see someone who got rich abusing a bug in the beta playing the final with all the wealth he got? Probably not.
Plus you don't know what kind of balancing changes a-net will be making to the area.
A beta is there to test things without being at risk to destroy the whole game by the bugs it contains. And this is also why you're not allowed to keep your characters the way they are.
I've seen many a two complains about that though and the funniest quote came from a somewhat moronic guildmate...
"WTF, Chars are gonna be deleted? This is totally rubbish, senseless. Lol why am i playing it then? If it is just for fun?!"
I almost died laughing.

This was the same with Factions and even Prophecies betas. Most people know this, and it's not that bad. At least you can have a preview of the game, and this might change your mind about being Nightfall or not. I sure am happy that the beta was here, I've seen alot of interesting items, alot of great looking armor, a new title, and that it even looks better then the previous two. Don't play it for the reward, just for fun. And obviously, you don't have to play it, if you don't want to put time in something you don't keep, just continue playing Prophecies and Factions.
The purpose of the Beta is not to power level a character - it is to introduce parts of the new campaign to the players, discover bugs that may still be lingering about, and test the current play balance for any tweaking that may be needed. All the beta events for all three chapters have been this way.
What would be the point of buying the new chapter if you could play through the entire game in the Beta? GW is not about having the "phattest loot" or "super-uber" character or about how much time you spent farming or playing the game - it is about skillful co-operative play. I am grateful that Anet provides this opportunity for players to get a sneak peak at their next chapter. I already am eagerly awaiting the release of the game and will be first in line to pick up the game for my two accounts (which I have already pre-ordered).
That fact that my beta tests will be eliminated have no bearing on my desire to play the game. I would expect nothing less from a beta event - that's why it's called a beta.

And you think you can play through the entire game? Dont you think its more cities and map on the Real nightfall? i dont know sure, but aint you think i got right on that one ?

If you don't want your chara deleted when the event ends, don't play. Wait till the actual release. I don't care if they delete this one, I got a feel of the game, know for sure if I want to buy the full thing or not, plus I know atleast a little what do with my actual chara when I start it when the real deal ships.

And no, you cannot play through the full game in the beta, but only explore certain regions. Just from the looks of the full map I would say that the total region is equal to the Prophecies explorable area. But the question is still valid as it relates to your complaint - if you can keep all the phattest loot in the game, what would be the point of buying the new campaign? Many people would use that equipment in the PvP arenas, putting those who are just starting out at a distinct disadvantage, which again goes against how Anet wanted to develop their game - it's not about having the most powerful character, but how skillfully you and your teammates play out a strategy.

The whole point of them letting you play is to let you see the new features, gameplay and the new world of elona, not to let you uber level and keep the chars. You are approaching the preview from the wrong point of view. If you want to take something away from this preview and not feel like you wasted time, then you should be focusing on the unlocks. It is what i am currently doing, have almost everything dervish unlocked and working on paragon now, this is from the pvp weekend and this weekend combined. I dunno about you guys but since i do both pvp and pve, i don't really feel that there is anything i am losing by them resetting the chars after the preview, since i got what i was after, the unlocks.
