New Hero AI?

Now I (like most people) think the the hero customization is beyond 1337, but do they actually use there skills like we would?

For instance I saw someone with a AOE smiter for there hero, did they actually smite continuously on one member or did they spam all skills all the time? I would really like to know.

Here's what I use Hero wise. They use their skills normally when needed. You can also click on certain skills and mark them to make sure they use them when possible. Such as "Watch Yourself!" on Koss, I click it and it's marked with a green tick, and he uses it when he gains 4 strikes of adrenaline.

I prefer to use my WoH Hero instead of the regular Hench Healer so I never leave town without, so I don't know how AOE Smiter works.

Very interesting, I like the new mechanics they have implemented.

If you made an AOE Smiter then chances are you'll have to manually control it to make it select the correct target or else it would probably select different targets which it thinks would be better. For example, if you ticked the orison of healing box on a monk hero, he would use that on the person you are currently targeting. So you could select the target to smite then tick each of the skills consecutively, waiting for him to cast each time.

yea i have Koss setup as a wammo with bath and vicariously and after he cast those two monk spells or even if he doesnt he only seem to spam sever artery and heal sig

its annoying i have all adren skills as well as battle rage elite on him which btw he never frigan uses and it angers me... he has silverwing slash and final blow and never touches the darn skills

why dont they set the spot on the skillbar where they sit to thir importances...

why doesnt the AI say ok cast enchants then go through the skillbar 1..2...3...4...5 or when they are available in the order they are set...

Koss gets plenty of damn addrenalline with bath and vic runing yet he only uses sever which does no damn bonus dmg at all just causes them to bleed

One thing i noticed and immediately dissaproved...

I had to use a new account to make a nightfall character, so I had only a few skills for Koss. I made him W/Mo, so that he would atleast have a full skillbar. When I did the commanding thing where you have to make your hero do stuff (note that it is located near a wounded ally), he kept running over to mend ailment on him (even when i put him on passive).

One thing I thought for sure they would do, is make warrior Heros cast monk skills on themselves.

I'm sure it's a work in progress...hopefull.

And yea Koss never uses 100 bladeds, grr.

My healer hero won't use his elites at all. Ever. It's really weird. I gace him WoH and he never touched it, even when party members were below 50% health just kept spamming orison. I also gave him healing light, and set his bar (to test this) so it was his only self heal. When he got attacked, he just stood there and took it because he had no self heal but Healing Light, and as i say he doesn't like using elites.
