The marketplace -> Bukdek byway, head straight east, its blaitantly obsvious its there, just thought I should say. PS i know this is in teh wrong place, I don't know where this is meant to go!

I believe this is what most people call "clipping." There are other examples of terrain textures that aren't perfectly matched up all over the game, including on the way towards the smite farming area in the Underworld.

Considering how certain buildings float on air rather than be planted firmly in the ground (see the pre-Searing themed Guild Hall), it would appear the Guild Wars game engine doesn't really allow for perfect terrain element matching. The ones that appear to match are usually depressed into other elements, so that their edges are out of sight, which could be the reason people get stuck in staircases and fall through the ground when managing to somehow "break" the invisible lines that keep us walking on the topmost level.
