IDS Farming with spirit bonder.

I realize there are a lot of threads about IDS, but most of them are about warriors or 55's. I'm running the spirit bonder build, with sprint to help get past enemies I can't kill. I got close to the enterance of the cave, but it was gaurded by an Avdent and a wise or guile. So naturally I can't kill the avdent because they just heal and use SoJ, and the guile will strip enchantment. So i tried to kill these two alone but I couldn't so I ran into the imps, siege golems and one moutain troll in hopes of just killing the imps, golems and troll and getting those drops and heading into the cave and out of aggro of the avdent and the guile. But I go into aggro, have spirit bond and prot bond up, and I died within 5 seconds because there was some enemy that obviously wasn't doing 60 and above damage. So is there any skill or tactic you guys use to get past the Guiles and Avdents? I tried to get out of the guile and avdent's aggro, but mael storm and freeze slowed me down too much. I'm running the basic spirit bonder build: PS, SB, SoJ, Blessed Aura, Essence Bond, Balthazar's Spirit and sprint.

Sounds like you just had a bad spawn, mos tof the time the Avicara spawn far enough from the cave that you can sprint away from them without aggroing the first imps.
As for helping with SB, could try frenzy. In all honesty I find that the W/Me build which focuses on high armour and damage mitigation is fine. I guess SB might be quicker though.

Frenzy doesn't trigger Spirit Bond

Yes, it does. But you HAVE to cast the skills in this order: Frenzy, Protective Spirit, Spirit Bond.

Didn't know that, doesen't sound very practical for a prolonged fight does it. Ah well.
