Suggestion: mini pet slot

there is just enough room for one more "slot" on the inventory page by your character. your weapons and off-hands disappear and reappear when you go in and out of cities with out your control, and i think it would be cool if there was a mini-pet slot that did the exact same thing. i like showing off my Kuun and having him follow me around, but i hate having to get him out every freakin time. i think it would be cool if it did it automatically.

note: i also want there to be a way to turn off mini pet sounds =]

agreed I normally forget that I have a mini pet on me and I wish it came out automatically

while its not important, it is somehting i would certainly use.

thats exactly the point. its to remove things that arent NEEDED...but just the little nuisances.

bumped for more feedback...it seems like it would be pretty simple to include so its not like it would take forever...i figure that easy little features like this should be included even if it isnt super important.

take heart, devs do go out of the way for little improvements, and this is a nice one also.

^_^ see, it gets in the way of nothing currently there and nothing in the way of it. if the little cape "show or not show" thing, that could be shifted down marginally...but i dont think its a big deal. also, when its equiped, not in the inventory plz =]

SilintNinjya, that seems like a perfectly resonable and logical place to put it. And I don't see why we have to keep taking minipets out....

Very nice. I do often forget to take out my mini turtle, and it does seem very logically and doable (if they can make caps appear in explorable areas but not in outposts, then they certainly can do this).

not signed mini pets will be history in a few months/a year. Something new will pop up and then people will want a new slot for something silly.

in a year, ill be recieving like another 4 or 5 mini-pets. i cant wait! as long as they keep introducing new ones, mini-pets wont go away. and if they even go so far as to support it, you can bet they wont go away.

Almost 2 hours ago I was on GW, opened my inventory and there was a little blue box tied with a yellow ribbon there. I got really excited and I opened it. Although it was not a charr shaman, which I wanted, it was a jungle troll, which I am very happy with. I don't want to have to click on it everytime I go out.

and what about the peole that have 2 handed weapons and the off hand slot just hangs out there? or people who arent in a guild and the cape slot?

i think that now that the game has been out for well of a year, *most* people have had or do have a pet. this could also increase the mini pet sales activity for the people that think like you and have to have something in every slot. not much, but maybe just a tad bit.
