Keeping Your Preview character

I was wondering if when the event stops, and i DONT delete my paragon, will it be reactivated when Nightfall is live? I really hope so since i beat the little island, i for a 15>50 20/20 scythe and i am almost a commander

You'll keep your character, but everything on him will be reset. Level, inventory, armour, the lot.

as officially stated all characterl will be reset to zero.

you keep nothing and start out even with everybody else

basically, your charachter will be back to that exact instant you pressed the "create" button. start in tutorial, no secondary, nothing

That's from the official GW site page about the event. I don't understand why people keep saying that they will be kept and simply reset, since that's clearly not what's been stated by Anet. It says they will be removed.

I distinctly remember that during the Factions preview event, Anet went out of its way to clarify that any characters we created during the event would be available at release - they haven't done that this time.

Edit: If there's been an official post somewhere saying that they'll simply be "reset to zero" then please post a link.

What you quoted was refering to the limited event accounts; not active game accounts.
I keep telling people not to be so harsh when they post as there's always the chance that they're wrong; but they never learn.....

And how do you figure that it's only refering to the "limited event" accounts?
I don't see it, as the paragraph in question is in a section titled "Campaign Overview." If they do reset ALL of the characters created for the preview, you're going to look pretty silly come Monday.
