Not an easy question i know.

Once you buy nightfall... Will you be able to bring your heroes over to other continents?
I'm guessing that you will... Since so far there has been a ton of interaction between games.

But if you know otherwise please state and prove plz and ty.

It's likely, but I don't think anybody knows for definite to be honest...
You've probably noticed by now that the interface changes are for the client altogether, as opposed to just Nightfall, so I think it's likely.

Don't think it will unless they give access to Tyrian and Cathan characters that only have P and F installed. I don't think it would be fair?

Gaile Gray was asked this very question and she said she would check her email and ask, and get back to us tomorrow.

My college level smarts says........... In the near future, heros are only going to be based in nightfall. The time it would take to code factions and the Orginal campians, would require a ton of time and money. Maybe like 3-6 months later you might see heros in other campians when GW will become stale again.

And why would they right now???? they have a hot new product (nightfall) and the hero feature alone with convince more people to buy nightfall, because it is the only place to get heros. If they gave it to the other ones right now it would take away from there nightfall only hype and could lower there sells. They want everyone to be playing nightfall soon and not factions with heros.

Uh...how about they make it so you need Nightfall to unlock the feature but support it in the other two?

I think you missed a logic step in what we're suggsting.

And as the player base only gets spread thinner they will need this to alow players to play thorugh the entire GW world. Not really but it'll make it much easier for most.

Yeah, sort of like the Material Storage, which requires Factions on your account, but once you get to Cantha and unlock it, your character has access to that upgrade in Tyria as well.

I think it's a great idea. Take your Tyrian or Canthan to Elona, unlock the heroes for that character, then they can follow you everywhere. No more crappy pugs!

i wouldnt like it, and personally i really dont like the hereos. I liked the idea, but in the WPE, i p;ayed it through only with heroes/henches(when you need 8) and only once played with a guild member. Gw was supposed to be about co-operation and now it's boiling down to a single player game with some online tendencies. I will buy Noghtfall, i had great fun in Elona, but i wouldnt like to see heroes in otehr parts of the game world.

My 2 cents.

Well, you will still have the choice to play with your guildies whether heroes are around or not, will you not ? How many times have we read Gaile Gray say something about player choice being good ? With heroes available, we have the choice to continue playing with our guildies or bring our heroes.

And yeah, raca137 completely missed the idea here.

You mean you can't take your Prophecies char. into Nightfall I thought they were the heros?

We are talking about the Hero system which involves the unlocking of story characters to fight in your party, Age.

Yeah, the question is very easy indeed. The are not heros in outpost, you just select it from the party window wherever you are; Heros are just henchies; I don't see why not allow people with Nightfall to use heros everywhere.

Edit: Note you can command henchies in Tyria and Cantha at this moment, so maybe the answer is yes.

Heroes are not just henchies. For a start, you can actually give them Res Sig, a skill foolishly omitted from many a henchman's build.

All henchmen have a res sig, except for the monk/rits, who have a reusable res. So you can guarantee henchmen have res, whereas I've been in so many PUGs where somebody didn't.

My thoughts exactly. I don't see why not. As more chapters come, there will be less and less people at the missions and outposts because we will be more spread out. With this, it will solve that problem(well mostly). Even if they don't make heros able to go to prophecies and cantha at first(I really hope they do), I'm pretty confident they will be able to go there eventually.

I just hope there is at least one hero for every proffession, including heros with primary rit, and primary assassin(of course you can only get them if you have factions linked to your account or somehting).

i am quite sure talon silverwing has rebirth. hmmmmmmmm

i might have been on drugs.

henchies>Pugs
i played most of factions with henchies. and the odd few time i went with guildies or pugs it was an almighty mess and took ages.

I want what some of what you're smoking.

As to your statement about Henchies being greater than PUGs, I completely agree. Back before anyone saw the value of Assassins in PvE (which sadly very few do, even now), I took my original PvE Assassin/Monk through the Factions campaign with henchies, except for the rare occasion when I teamed up with a guildmate or friend. That's also how I know that every single mission in the Factions Campaign is indeed henchable.

On the original topic: while I don't personally see any major problems with allowing Nightfall players to drag their Hero players along with them to the previous, and possibly future, chapters, I can see how problems with this could eventually arise. I suppose it is a question that only the passing of time can answer.

Well, you can only take a max of 3 your own heros with you on a mission cant you? So having Heros in Tyria and Cantha excludes 'player cooporation' no more so than being able to have a full hench team.
