I just bought my copy of guildwars today but when i put the activation code in all it would let me play is the nightfall preview, it says that i cant play guild wars can anyone advise me what to do, I have tried adding my activation code to my account as well but it says the code is already in use, the version I bought was guildwars special edition. Ive tried going o the support site but it doesntmake much sense to me and i find the place confusing

The special edition comes with two seperate keys. One key is for the bonus pvp skill unlocks; the other is for the actual game. It sounds like you only added the key for the skill unlocks.....

oh and my activation key was on a crad that had a scratch off strip

Actually the American version has two keys; maybe the European one is on a single key.....
In the plaync knowledge base; to open a support ticket you have to click "ask a question"

I played the recent 14 day demo and that was the reason that I bought the full game from the shop, Im wondering if maybe the demo I playewd interfeered with the full game code, when i first installed the carachter I created for the demo reappeared but it wouldnt let me play prophecies I deleted the carachter I had and started fro scratch but it wouldnt let me lay anything but nightfall with my new carachter

I entered both keys and i unlocked the PvP skills but the only game[play key that is active is my old demo key

try uninstalling then reinstalling..if that doesn't work do like everyone else suggested...contact support. IF u bought a used copy of the game it could cause u some problems as the account could have been banned etc.

No I bought a brand new copy of the game and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. But when I go to the support site i just get sent to the account creation screen when I submit a question, i have already registered but it still does this even when I log in its really beginning to get on my nerves. It says contact customer support and i just end up at that plaync reentering my details again and again even if i log in, im thinking of calling it a day with the whole and using the disca as a coaster, its really bugging me now.

That "bloody support site" is the closest you are going to get, I'm afraid.
Just follow the link I posted. Where it says "PlayNC account", just type "None" if you don't have one. Your Game Account, on the other hand, is the e-mail address you used when you registered for your Guild Wars account.
