After the second mission in the Nightfall preview, the crazy lady praises Abbadon, like in Abbadon's Mouth in the Ring of Fire. After that, the ancient undead says that "Abbadon stirrs".

IF this is the case, then neither Menzies nor Dhuum is responsible for the "end of days".

Yeah, when I heard "Praise Abbadon," it kinda hit me.

What else could Praise Abbadon mean?

Might not wanna put a spoiler as the title of your thread. But yea he is, they explain it in more detail further a quest.

Lol, yeah. Kind of pointless to put a spolier warning, when the actual spoiler is in the title itself, right next to the warning. You should probably change that.

And yeah, it seems as if this chapter will involve Abaddon as the outcast god.

Further along the preview event, you learn from certain quest a bit more about Abaddon.

Well since people are viewing the preview event anyway, its kinda of pointless to put a spoiler warning period. They will find out regardless.

I wasn't sure if It was a spoiler anyway...

ALL spoilers will be found out eventually.

Hmmm, interesting. Finally a reason for the weird name of Abaddon's mouth.

Some people are, but not everyone is.

Even for the people who are, not everyone is playing the whole PvE portions of the event, some are testing out PvPing, and testing out some builds as well.

There's always that small fraction you know .

EDIT

To the above poster, yeah, all spoilers are found out eventually.

But do you want to know what already happens in a new movie before you watch it? Or what happens in a book you want to read before you read it?

Btw, Abaddon means, "Doom, Destruction," and also can mean "Realm of the Dead," as mentioned in the above link (Wikipedia).

I ment it as in, the argument of it will be found out eventually isn't working because all spoilers will ofcourse be found out eventually. Unknown data isn't a spoiler. So yeah, it should have the spoiler tags. And maybe change the title to "New information about outcast god? [spoilers]".

Well I'm glad the writer of Nightfall is doing what he said he was going to do. Tie up things from Prophices and Factions.. fleshing out the lore a little more. It's much appreciated to me.

"The largest volcano in the Ring of Fire Island Chain, Abaddon's Mouth is rumored to be the gateway into the Underworld. But only demons and devils would dare enter the fiery chasm. All other risk being burned to cinders before even getting to magma's edge."

That is the description of abbadons mouth on the pop up you get when you want to travel somewhere. If you look at it closly, it metions it being a possible dorway to the underworld. MAYBE, just maybe, the "underworld" here could actually mean the "realm of torment", where abbadon is supposed to be currently residing. If this is true, that would mean abbadons mouth is litterally the portal to get to the realm of torment, or Abbadon. It would certainly fit the title description. Also when you look at the physically area of abbadons mouth, it is very volcanic and dangerous area in its own right, a fitting place for a portal to a god whose name means doom.

Although, i dont know why the portal would be all the heck over on the ring of fire islands when the story takes place in Elona, so maybe this is just me rambling on about nothing

For all you fellow nerds who've read "The Silmarillion" it sounds like Abaddon = Morgoth.

Maybe the Titans are from the Realm of Torment?

Abbadon literally means "Hell" (Realm of the Dead, like already said). So Abbadon's Mouth would literally be "The Mouth of Hell" or the "Hellmouth"

Underworld=Hell in Guild Wars. So of course it would be a mouth to the Underworld in lore.

Don't try to make it into more than it is

Abbadon = all the faces of the guy in RoF missions and shit, which is why there are Dwayna's Cursed and what not in there, all of the forgotten things are there that are outcast... ooooh I like this.

And that explains the new gray titan minipet as another factor. Also remember how the char worshipped the titans, that was pretty sweet too going back and seeing all the subliminal messages that you thought meant nothing, to later find out meant something...

All of you spelling it "Abbadon", the correct spelling is "Abaddon". You know, The Destroyer? Angel of the Bottomless Pit? Yeah, *that* Abaddon.
