I'm probably not the first to realize you can do this, but I'm probably the first to extensively exlpore with it.
The trick is you can cross over almost any non-locked portal without zoning, thus allowing you to explore the parts of the map that over-lap. There is no real advantage to this, it's just a lot of fun. Plus you get to see some of the underlying textures on the maps which is neat.
It's pretty easy to figure out how to do it, so I'll let you guys figure it out for now. If no one can figure out how I'll post how tomorrow.
