A few more questions

Alright so I went to the great northern wall to furthure my quest, and there was a ton of people there with a blue icon next to their characters with a number. What does this mean? That they're looking for a party? I didn't click on the "Accept Mission" button just yet, as I have mroe things to do, but I assume that I have to get a party for this mission?
Former Ruling
The blue stuff over their heads tells you their level and Profession if they arent in a party (helps with inviting people).
That mission is easy, so you can carry "Henchman" with you on it. They are in the middle area. You learned from the first quest form Marmaster Tydus that henchman are A.I. characters that help you on missions and quests.
If you want to party, theres a few things you need to know: "LFG" means Looking For Group. So you'd say "Level[whatever] [whatever profession] LFG mission" and that tells them you are a level [whatever] [whatever profession you are] that is looking do to the mission.

Alright but does this mean that I will see these blue icons over everyone in other cities in the future?

To clear things up a little (because I think Ruling mixed something up here):
In mission towns and many outposts, as long as a character is not in a party, his profession and level will be displayed above the character, like "W/Mo 20" for a Level 20 Warrior/Monk, for example.
As soon as this player is member of a party, this display will be removed. At the party's leader it will be replaced by the icon you've seen (I always thought it is supposed to be the upper half of a human body) and a number showing how big the party already is. So if you see someone with a "4" next to the icon, you know his party is already full (as in your current area max. party size is 4).

I did mix it up with he meant the Party number. But my info is still right in relation to the profession.
But on my screen the profession "icon" over their head is an offwhite-blueish color to.
as for the second question - Yes, you'll see it in alot of outposts.

Also, if you see the "W/Mo10" thing over player's heads, you're in a mission town. If you don't see it over their heads (like in Ascalon City), it means there's no Mission in that town, but maybe quests.
