Does this honestly matter? I fail to see the importance of being slaughtered by a horde of wurms inside a town district.

It's fun, and it makes for 1 of a kind screenshots.

Its a break in tradition. A very new tradition, but it was tradition.

I think it just goes to show that they're starting to get way over their heads with this 6-month release than they realised.

Possible solution? Hire more people.

Aww, no getting killed by hordes of monsters... Ever since Gwen this has been one of the things I looked forward to the most. Too bad, I hope they have it for the next preview thing.

They only have 2 teams. And one of them is working on Chapter 4. The other is still working on Nightfall.

Apparently they would rather make Nightfall better than spending precious hours on an end event for the Preview.

They had enough time to do one for factions.

Which is why Factions must have sucked!

There are more things in Nightfall to tweak than there was in Factions.

They had enough time to do one for the original campaign. :P

Because they had been working on it for like 4-6 years!!

prophecy: 110 man working
factoin and nightfall: 55 man working on each chapter
take 5 man out of 110 vs 5 man out of 55 there is quite significance to smaller dev team

But a "55" build can take that at the least - heck there aren't even any enchant strippers or degen mobs - why doesn't this work here? Dang Anerf to heck, now they are even swinging the nerf bat at real life

They're human too, they need sleep, food, and enough time to work on their real job. There has never been a statement or even a promise that they would do something like this at the end of EVERY event. Have you ever seen a PvP event end this way?

You'll live without it.
