Monk hero

I tell ya, having a monk hero with mending or some other enchament is annoying. My monk hero would waste his energy on everyone with mending or keeps healing minions and ends up with no energy. If you take it off the dumbass puts it right back on. Hope they fix this.

I switched my monk hero to a monk mesmer. Then switched all his skills to a boon heal build. It works out pretty nice.

The moral to the story is that Mending is a horrible skill to put on a monk, not that the AI needs improving to compensate.

Ditto on Mace. Boon Prot heroes work beautifully.
