Hi lets keep a track were we can get NightFall CE and normal version at the best price possible, tired of rip of Britain so we need to shop around like mad.

So post link to so call "beat this Price" type of thing.

Last time around, the cheapest place was tesco.com
I've just checked and they only have the standard edition @ £24.99. So it looks like they will not be cheapest this time around.

Most of the other websites I've looked at (game, gamestation, gameplay, etc) are more expensive.

Personally I'm hoping it'll appear on the computer @ work, so I'll be able to get staff discount

CE: £39.99

Not the cheapest for standard but very close on CE if you dont want to take the risk of using an unknown supplier. I have ordered two copies of CE from them. One for me and one for my son.

u have to wait until it shows up in tesco - jersey to get a cheap one cos theres no vat to pay.. personally im waiting for tesco im sure they wont let me down, plus theres still ages to go yet so i wont actually be looking to ordering until mid october at the earliest

I am as well waiting to see if tesco sells NighFall CE cos Last time i got Factions CE for something like £31 and that was a good deal. But I dont have much hopes cos if they have Nightfall at £28.49 then the CE will cost around retail price.

As well i am hoping Play.com will Sell CE but atm they not even listing Guild Wars NighFall.

Dont even say Game.co.uk or gameplay.co.uk cos £49.99 is madness. order from Europe even with P&P it would be cheaper dont know were they get them prices from.

In Oxford Street u go to GAME store and ask how much for Nighfall CE and they Say £49.99 walk two more 2 min max into HMV ask how much for Nighfall CE and they say £39.99, funny this business.

Well lets hope the closer we get the more sites start selling them.

Tesco had Factions SE up alot longer than CE, so maybe just wait a couple of weeks and it will be up, thats what im holding out for atleast, but may switch my order over to that Sendit place, ty for the linky!

it mentions the pre-order pack on the standard edition but not on CE.

I normally use Play.com for my gaming and DVD needs! However, it seems that they aren't stocking Nightfall at all. I can't find it anywhere on the site, weird really seen as I got both Prophecies and Factions from there.

Sendit (formerly Blackstar) have always been totally reliable for me, and I ordered from them a week or so ago, I couldn't find anywhere cheaper (and they immediately sent me a copy of the Pre-Release Bonus Pack free of charge, which I hadn't expected). I remember for Factions I did order from Amazon.co.uk and they had no sense of urgency at all, it was lucky I wasn't relying on their copy to be able to play on the "head start" day, or indeed the first weekend. Amazon.co.uk were totally useless on the Factions Official Guidebook too, after a couple of weeks I gave up, complained, got a £3 voucher apology, and went off to my local branch of Game...

I hope not everyone is going to order from sendit.com now xD, I don't want to be put on backorder..
I preordered my CE on Wednesday, no sign of the bonus pack yet (my main account has one already anyway).

I bought normal Prophecies from them soon after release, wondered why the game hadn't arrived for a week. I emailed their support about it before realising I had the wrong postcode in my shipping address. Thus I changed it, and was sent another copy for free. The original order came through soon after.
I still have it unopened as a little momento.

Orderd mine from GAME at £39.99 plus a few quid for delivery.

Had my pre-order pack come through about a week later.

Its not the cheapest around but has so far been the most reliable.

During the CE Stock Scare of factions, many of my guildies and friends who orderd from these 'cheaper' places were disapointed in not getting their copy for many weeks later.

Finally, play.com is offering this game for £17.99 or €26.99.

They also ship outside UK (for free), so e.g. for me living in Austria, this is usually the cheapest place to buy games.

Factions CE i dont think was a Rip off but the game was

but i liked the artbook plus got to have one of them flying pets

dint i read somewhere that was some sort of dance emote for Nightfall CE? i may be wrong or maybe it was just rumours.

think GAME in shop has it for 39.99 and i bought the pre-release for £2 so i can get it for the same price in shop.. hopefully it will go down a bit more if i can get it under £35 i might consider it

my only problem with ordering online is that i don't know if you would get the game on the day of release, or if the game would be dispatched on the release date. Obviously it hardly matters because it's only one or a couple of days, but if you can get it in a shop for the same price, I might just go out and buy it on the 27th

Most Online stores will say if you can perorder this item and play on the day or release eg. gameplay.co.uk etc.. i am pretty sure if u buy from play.com you will not get this item and play the same day the game is release (at least i never did) but this doest bother me i can wait a few days, after all i have 6 months until the next one

. And because most release on a Thursday/Friday there is not enough time to get to you, that’s why on most of this places you pay extra to get a quick next day delivery but play.com don’t charge for delivery its all included.

I normally get my new called released games/DVDs on a Tuesday is they were released on a Thursday /Friday, but this all depends what part of the country you live and how Postal services is run etc… again the way I look at it, small price to pay for cheaper prices and ripoff Company’s.

This is just me I sort have a vendetta against GAME and its way of training staff cos its looks like they advert “if you dumb you can work here” and if you read this and work for GAME get out before they turn you into one

So saying that I don’t buy anything from GAME. GAME shop is rip-off and if any American reads this, GAME = EB same crappy company.

Im tempted to go for Play.com because of the price but with Factions i ordered and watched my delivery progress right up until the day before release and when it didnt say it was "in transit" I called them up and they didnt have the stock. So because I wanted to play over the weekend I cancelled my order and went the shops instead.

Worried it might happen again...

Every time i have orderd a game before release no matter where from, they always post them a day earlier then release so you get it at your door for release day.
I imagine most shops will have them in early next week but wont ship until thursday, and put on display friday.

I live in france, so I don't know about their UK customers, but when i ordered prophecies and faction from them, they shipped it the day of the release, not one day earlier. when they mail me a game on friday, i usualy get it by tursday or wednesday. then again, it might be quicker for UK residents.

It’s the same for the UK I can tell you that and like I have said above I normally get it on Tuesday or Wednesday when I order from play.com

I don’t see a problem if I am after the standard version and cant wait 1extra week etc. then I go to the shop or buy from gamplay.co.uk were u get charged extra for delivery, so I no longer pay £17.99 I pay max £29.99 inc p&p. And with the money that I will save I have pre-order BF2142 for £20

again don’t mind waiting 1week or so for the arrival

But because I am a cheap ass,

I pay cheap and will not mind waiting 1week. The game will not end after 1 week

, the problem is when you pay cheap and at the same want to get the game for the release day. (thats not going to happen, ithink)

I have never order anything from sendit.com but I would find it really amazing if they shipped any quicker than play.com both company are base in the same place “Jersey “ and only send items "*Monday-Friday: not applicable over weekend hours." Like play.com

But I may give them a try this time after all they are a few pennies cheaper than play.com.
