Ok, so I tried testing the elite Shadow Meld over the weekend. I used it in conjunction with my AoD Shock Sin except I swapped AoD for SM. In most situations, I cannot see how AoD is a better choice, or how recall does serves basically the same purpose(notice i didint say "thing"). I'd love it if someone could prove me wrong or tell me how to use this skill, perhaps to tele to a monk whos getting ganked, and then return to the front line?

Yeah, it is a slightly pointless skill. I suppose if you needed to heal you could just use it, telel to the ally, heal, then cancel it. Only other use i can really think of is casting it at the begenning of a match and using scorpion wire. Then when u cancel it you go back etc etc. But if your going to do that you might as well just use Shadow of Haste and bring one other stance instead of wasting an elite slot.

Yes, I agree with you. I used to run a Shock AoD Sin, with the new buff I've preffered SoH+DE and Temple Strike as my elite. Works very nicely I find. Ah well, I'm sure someone will figure it out.

The only reason I've found it useful is for temporarily backing away from key NPC targets such as priests and Guild Lords. By casting Shadow Meld you can run far, FAR away from your stationary target and then pop back at a moment's notice.

That's about it though.

Guess it would help with the Guild Lord ganks.
