Not able to play Nightfall

Not sure what was wrong with the weekend event for me, but I was unable to play????? I added the access key to my account. And when you look at my access keys in account management it stated that two character slots were added for Nightfall Preview Event. But no new character slots were available to me? I have Prophesies and Factions so I have 6 slots. I am bummed cause I wanted to check it out, but I was not about to delete an existing character just to try it out for the weekend. Anyone else having this problem, or is this the way it was suppossed to be?

If you already had an account, you didn't need to add an access key? And A-Net stated that your extra character slot wasn't added in the Nightfall Preview Event...

on the site they had free temp accounts with keys waiting for you to use them

I used the access code listed on the login screen. (Thinking it would give a temp character slots). It did not say anything about existing accounts do not need code.

Same as Factions preview: to use existing account, you must have a free slot. Or, use a separate email address to use the temp key posted.

The code does nothing for existing accounts. The two slots mentioned in key management is listed because you own Prophecies and Factions; has nothing to do with Nightfall.


You can use the event key to make a temp event account. There's still about three and a half hours left of the event.
