Hi, I really did use the search button, honest!

The results seemed to tell me that:

- The Grey Giant minipet is available in the UK via PC Gamer
- It will be in the November edition
- The edition will have a Nightfall cover & article
- There will be a code someplace

My copy arrived in the post today, and apart from a short, 1-page preview, I don't have a Nightfall cover, and I certainly can't see a code anywhere. Here's a scan of the front cover. Is it the right one?

Everyone assumed that the minipet would be in PC Gamer for the UK to; but the truth is they haven't announced what magazines the pet will be in for Europe yet.

It was suposed to be mentioned which magazine's would carry the code over here on the GW site, here

However, nothing's been posted there at all. It looks like we in Blighty got shafted! As I understood it we were going to be allowed to use the Grey Giant in the Nightfall preview weekend, well that didn't work out did it? It's over and yet we still don't know where to get the Grey giant from!

Alex Weekes (I believe) stated that Euro mags will be giving away mini-pets, but he did not yet state which mags will give these away, and we shjould keep our eyes on the official website for an announcement.

Yanno, I am absolutely certain I have read, either on here or on the PC Gamer forums that the pet was coming in THIS issue of PC Gamer in the UK as someone asked the question and a PC Gamer representative answered with "Yes, we're repeating the same offer for European readers"

I will happily spend some time and dig out their statement to prove this fact.

Thank you for pointing this out to me, I nearly went and bought this issue and thereby wasted my money and appreciate the save. I'm probably not alone in pointing out that I'll be spitting blood with fury if european gamers get the shaft yet AGAIN.

That sounds like a typically imprecise statement that doesn't really say much, and it doesn't clearly state when they'll repeat the offer... Don't you just love how people spend so much effort on not answering questions? Perhaps it's worth checking the December issue when that comes out but I imagine that will be after the NF release and thus a bit late to be building up anticipation of the game >.< Damn you PCGamer!

I know nothing of which UK mags, but I nearly missed the code in my US copy of PC Gamer. It was more like a 1 page ad for a game, completely seperate from the spread they did on GW: Nightfall.

It's kinda hard to miss the code in the US copy as it says "turn to page 96 for your exclusive guild wars mini-pet code!" in big letters in the corner of the table of contents...

right now the only copies of PC gamer that have the Gray Giant mini pet are in the US i believe. i have my copy and i have seen the magazine in the US. i'm pretty sure that the Gray Giant mini is not in the UK PC gamer magazines.
