What would you like to see fixed before release

Most has been said, but let me quote 2 that are very easy to implement, yet useful
That should definitly be the default, vertical is very messy.
That would be a great idea as well. It just hurts to see your PvP character gain faction, but not being able to get it because of the 10k cap and everything being unlocked. Some simple concept of transfering Balthazar faction (and if it is just for a balthazar's title) would help that.

Need to make it so the skill effects bar on heroes need to have the effects going horizontal, rather than vertical. |

Balthazar Faction sinks. I'm UAX, and I'm usually UAX really early once an expansion comes out, and sticking at 10k balths faction with nothing to spend it on seems like a bit of a waste to me. How about having "Maids of Balthazar" or something that'll exchange balth's faction into items? Maybe like those flames of balthazar for the 4v4 arena event so you could store / sell your balthazar faction off (good way to make money without PvEing). If this is implemented I'd think that 10k normal balths faction would be able to buy 5k of storeable / tradeable balths faction. |

I enjoyed everything in the preview.

Fixes needed:
*The too-many-heroes-in-your-party bugs.
*Let us rename our heroes. It's hard to tell one from the next during combats. Letting us rename that will help a lot. At least make them "Koss [Player Name's]" if we can't rename them.
*Add passive/defensive/aggressive toggles for the henchmen in addition to heroes.
*Add hero-like controls to pets.
*Better relative drop rates: I noticed during the preview event that gold dropped so much more than anything else, then of collectible objects. Weapons of various types dropped rarely (I never saw a wand or a sword all weekend! bows, scythes, spears and staves.) Materials and things that salvage well (especially those that salvage to hide!) are rare.
*Reorganize the skill window so that it's less cluttered-appearing. The vertical scroll list to find your skills is now too short with attributes listed at the top of it, even when making it take up all of your available vertical height.
*Certain quests seemed to have required certain heroes in your group. I ask that this be removed: it could lead to problems with who gets to take their Koss, but also it makes the party size limit effectively 3 for those quests instead of 4.
*Ritualist/Assassin as secondary (even if not primary).
*Removal of locked gates. Gates by transit across water are okay. But physical barriers on the same island are not.
No, we mean actual SKILLS as quest rewards as per Prophecies.
Nearly all the posts in this thread shout a single resounding response: Make quest rewards worth the while to do them, before they mirror Faction's quest rewards and become so irrelevant they're despised and rarely done.

They aren't asking for actual skills, notice when you buy a skill it takes one skill point + so much gold? That's what they want back in quests, which is the same thing as those skills points you see in your Hero [H] Screen |

You people experienced the hourglasses for longer than 2 seconds? That's a trifle odd, the only time I saw them was when I initially loaded, or when a skil was wearing off. I thought they were really cool the first time I noticed them, instead of simply flashing the skill had an hourglass icon flashing dark but transparently overlaid on the spell/effect icon...

Well renaming Heros would make cutscenes and storylines a bit harder. Just imagine some idiot naming their Koss, Cool Shiznit. It would ruin it for others into the storyline because "Cool Shiznit" is in the cutscene instead of Koss. I do believe Anet said somewhere that in the retail version, when 2 of the same Heros were in the same party, the 2nd would get a randomly generated name.
The 2 things that frusurated me were HOUR GLASSES. They HAVE to go. But that affects the whole game as of now, so to the Nightfall part...
Nightfall definatly needs skill quests. I still have hope for them despite them not being in the preview. My reasoning is they didnt want anyone to unlock 1/2 the Nightfall skills so they left the skills out of the quests.

I want to see Divine Aura on my Paragon and Dervish. Other than that, it's all good so far. ^_^

No skill quests. Skill points yes. Skills no. I want to choose what skills i want, not some random skills anet gives us.

What's another 3000 XP, one skill point and 50 gold [when it takes 1000 to buy a skill]?

Skill quests were often useless to me personally, as if I wanted the skill by the time the quest came along I already had it.

Now, my short opinion:
(I hope developers read this forum, they MUST)
Nightfall will be the best of the 3 Guild Wars, I am sure.
Paragons are all the same look, all the same white dressed clones with skirt.
Fix Heroes bugs ASAP, not after final release.
Add the possibility of change hair in-game or use all 3 games hairs when creating a new character.
Offtopic: Add an option for NOT show cinematics in HA, GvG, 12vs12 battles. I think I canceled the HA animations about 10.000 times

5. This may have been covered before, but there has to be a way to raise the level cap to keep the game interesting.
6. Strangly, I think that the amount of "Rare" Item drops needs to be reduced. Green was suppose to be a Very Rare thing, but now they're everywhere. It's almost to a point where there are Blue weapons that are as strong as Green. Very not good to me.
Other than these things, I've loved GW the whole way through.

I found that if you tried to select a heroe useing your number pad (like I do if I am monking or ally casting) it would not allow you to target them, unless you did so by hand. It was like they did not exist. I tried to select them via "select next ally" button that I also use alot and nor did that work. I hope that this problem is fixed either befor the release or soon after.
Also, I am sure as most of us would agree, more storage would be a great add on after the release. I.E. via a new storage upgrade guy in a city 1/2 way thru NF, and it could cost you like 1k per 10 storage slots with a max of 100 slots per account
Other than these 2 little things I am very pleased with what I have seen thus far in GWNF. And I am awaiting the release like a kid on Xmas eve.
