Secondary professsion GONE!

i noticed on one of my chars that i played during the NF preview on Sat that i no longer have a secondary profession. Ive seen a few random people with this same problem and they didnt even realize till i msged them about it..Skills GONE, Att's for sec prof GONE im not sure what happened, but theres a slight chance that during the preview when they had the choice filter which let you pick from your Primary only or Both professions( it was in the skills tab) and i may have just left it on my primary only and when they removed NF it did not put me back to my Mo/N status i now amd just a Mo with no secondary all 3 of my other chars are fine

just press "K' for skills and attributes.....
Anet did it for the NF update, so some people might have been reset....

the skills arent there i tried every choice in the drop down box..and when i hit H to look at my atttibute points only have 4 HP/PP/DF/SP

when i goto a skill trainer i only get monk skills no necro

just go to the desert ang change profession again :/

im not even freakin ascended yet..and its not like i use ANY necro skill but since i saw a few people with this problem i figured i would post somthing about it

Hmmm dunno what you could do? Maybe get ascended and add/change the class...did it take away attribute points totally or just remove them from the N attributes?

Seems if you got a secondary with the update, you lost it after the update.

Just get the profession the right way >_>

i dont think i lost any points but the secondary just vanished..im sure i could get it back if i ascended but im pretty far from acsending even though i have the desert elite

quite some time and not ascended >_< go to great temple of balthazar and try getting it changed there. bring 500 gold with you too, it might work. theres a profession changer there as well

During the Nightfall preview your skills window had a dropdown list in it where you could change your secondary. I suspect that at some point you set yourself to no secondary and now that the preview is done, that list went poof. Wait till you get to the desert and ascend or become closer to the stars in cantha and see if you can get the secondary back, or goto support.guildwars.com and POLITELY describe your issue.

and have you tried going to the temple of balthazar and changing your profession there?

Very weird, I chose Monk/Dervish, and im still Monk/Dervish.... No complaints though

Ok...go to the Skills menu and click on the little drop down with your professions name on it. Your secondary should be there. I totally abused this cool new option with my Heroes. I had Koss as a Warrior/Dervish. Koss with a Scythe totally rocked!

the fact that this is possible is something I am very happy about.. I hate having a second profession on a monk... When I monk I am a pure monk... I rarely have a use for anythign in a secondary anyway, so why bother showing it?

nevermind....the Skills and Attributes menus are back to normal. Report what happened to ANet.

I have talked to several people in game who are haveing the same problem. They have tried desert secondary changers, they have tried temple of blathazar, but nothing works. I will suggest the same thing to you as I did them, wait till tuesday and if Anet hasn't fixed it, politly send them an e-mail explaning your situation.

YOu said you aren't ascended, or anything.

So I had to assume you got your other secondaries from the update, and when the update left, you got stuck with no secondary.

I suggested that you ascend and try to get the secondaries the normal ways to see if it fixes it.

But the guy above me said that didnt work, so just contact support.

I would just submit a report ticket to NCSoft support.

Haha damn this is why I kept a secondary I knew something like that would happen and really didn't want to take the risk.

Even though I have all secondary professions unlocked I didn’t no whether changing in the desert would do any good since I would have changed using a feature that is no longer present in game.

I’m sure it will be fixed sooner or later, if Anet knew that people couldn’t regain the second prof then they will more than likely be working on it and if not send a ticket in and I’m sure it will be fixed.

Least if its not you only have to wait a month right?

Hah good marketing technique to make you get nightfall however. :P
