Terribly slow to be blunt, *if* it even worked (called shot will hit through all of your defenses).

No, this build is utterly horrible to put it bluntly...
NEVER play a warrior as a caster, that's your first mistake.
You rely on low-duration high-recharge stances for defense... explain why?
Deflect arrows - one of the worst skills in the game for anything but running.
Abandon this build and search for the post made by the poster above me.

If I remember correctly, Deflect Arrows ends when you successfully hit with an attack.

...and Bonetti's ends if you use a skill.
How are you going to stop their Healing Spring?
You can EASILY outdamage SS with a Sword Warrior.
At 15 Sword, everything below hits for +40:
Standing Slash
Galrath Slash
Silverwing Slash
Dragon Slash
I also have Sun and Moon Slash on my bar.
Once you build up adren, you fly through the spiders.

2 words. Warrior-Mesmer.
Physical Resistance, Dolyak Signet. Already you're taking 0 damage from every attack but called Shot. Wang Triple Chop in there for interrupts, and a couple of other axe attacks and you are away. And if that isn't enough, you could always add "Shields Up!"
Lets see...Physical Resistance (+40), Dolyak Signet (+30ish) and Shields Up (+40, 50% chance to block).
So with Sentinel Armor, you have over 200 armour vs their arrows, 170 armour without shields up.
I don't mean to be insulting, but why fix what isn't broken? I guess the theory was sound originally, but re-casting SS would leave you no energy for other skills.
Edit: Apologies if my maths is off, but Im pretty sure Shields Up gives +40.

Dolyak Signet and Physical resistance is waaaay overkill. Physical Resistance and Watch yourself is plenty.
Now, I'm not sure, but won't the spiders use Savage Shot on SS, or any spell being cast for that matter?

Now, I'm not sure, but won't the spiders use Savage Shot on SS, or any spell being cast for that matter? From my experience as playing a caster in FoW, they're a bit odd about using Savage Shot. I've had one wail on me and not attempt to interrupt my Meteor Shower, but they've attempted to interrupt faster spells.
According to GuildWiki, they only use Savage on targets with "low health." I guess it's to use the conditional damage as a finisher.

Apologies if my maths is off, but Im pretty sure Shields Up gives +40. You don't even need Dolyak. I use just Physical Resistance and Shields Up! (for a 20 second armor boost, at 15 tactics.)
Now for the maths part: Shields Up gives +50 Armor (vs Piercing) and a 50% Chance to blok incoming projectile attacks.
So with sentinels (which I would not recommend at all...) you have 100 Base Armor, 40 From Physical and 50 from "Shields Up!". 100+40+50=190 Armor.
Even if Shields Up just gave 40 armor you were still wrong

Teutonic Paladin
Uh... Shield's Up! has a 45 Second recharge (BAD) and Dolyak Signet is used for the 0 Energy/Adrenaline, not the added 20 armor.

All warrior armour grants 100 AL vs. physical damage (which is all that matters in the case of spiders), and every spider build that I know of uses maintains a stance during the fights so Legionnaries is the best choice at 110 AL vs. physical.
