I guess a R/D would be a... bunnyreaper?

eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, when the dust settles, nothing's left alive.

*cough* wow, my poetry sucks.

anyways, the weapon differences are really moot point. each class have their own distinct roles in the game. comparing weapon damages without considering the respective classes' overall role is kinda pointless.

with that said, it seems that ranger primaries can still take advantage of the paragon spear attacks with more effectiveness than actual paragons. from the few games i'd observed during the preview, paragon primaries are usually limited to a party support role, while R/P "bunny chuckers" can use the spear attacks to great effect. only time will tell how things will work out.

I am looking foward to running R/D with a scythe though, along with the already proven good R/P.
Agreed. OP compared hammer and scythe on their max dmg difference without taking into account the min dmg. That is already a wrong start.

Scythe can hit multiple foes while hammer can deal knockdowns. Both have their own unique characteristic.
