How do I spend my Luxon faction?

I have 10k Luxon Faction. (I got it easily at the Fort Aspenwood, I don't understand some of you having probs with that.)

My Alliance Leader doesn't have GWFactions. According to her this doesn't let her ally with the Luxons.

I have completed the Zashion quest thing. (Beat 5 teams) I stil haven't beat the Elite after them though. (the island with all the wrecked pirate ships)

My character is PvP only char.

How do I spend my 10k? I really need to unlock skills, I'm tired of using prebuilds.

Thanks for any help.

YOu have to get to the city of Cavalon on any character to spend it then.

Also - You cant buy Skills or anything with Luxon faction - Thats balthazar Faction.

Have your alliance leader (guild leader) hand off leadership to someone who has Factions. They can choose a side. Then just give the guild back to him/her.

Seems like an oversight on ANet's part to allow pvp chars to earn Kurzick or Luxon faction but not give them access to a 'faction rewards' npc so they can trade it in for jade or amber. Although since faction is account based any of your other pve chars could go to Cavalon and trade.

Doesn't the faction you have carry over to your PVE characters? You can trade in faction without being in an alliance. Just go to cavalon and trade it in for jade.

The problem is probably the OP doesnt have a PvE character that far into Cantha. He sounds like he just got the game and rolled some premades and went to Fort Aspenwood (after that weekend, I think pvp access to those missions stayed).

If he wants to unlock skills though, That faction shouldnt concern him yet anyway, just get "balthazar faction" instead from Random arenas.

Yeah, I pretty much just got the game and used a pre maid first thing. I got this game so my lady friend can play the RPG and I can play the PvP. I guess she hasn't gotten to Cavalon yet.

Okay, so Luxon faction only gets jadite? I have to create another account to earn gold and, if I don't sweet talk my guild leader, get to Cavalon?

Also, try to think 0 rpg here, is it possable to get gold with a PvP character? You know, like alliance battles and the like?

I wish there was an easy to find and read walkthrough for a strictly PvP character. I tried some of the RPG and fell asleep with all that text. (No offense to you story lovers.)

If you don't want to play PvE then you don't need gold. You need to earn Balthazar Faction to unlock stuff.

About the only thing you can do with your Luxon points is turn them into brownie points with your lady friend. If you two are sharing an account and she is the one PVEing, they are really only useful to her.

You mean it can't be used to upgrade armor's, weapons, or skills? Uh, might I ask, what the hell can you buy with it? Jade and Amber is used for what?

Also, gold and platinum bars are used to upgrade the guild hall.

IF you have pve access to cavalon, the jadeite you'd get from there is worth money, cash, gold, spank, its also a material component for armor not that you care.
