im new here and i think this is the right place to say it.

Today i was going to farm with a friend of mine in the Footprint. He bought along one of his friends from Fishmongers (previous GotW). *editted out* of *editted out* is a tighta**. *editted out*, if your reading, just because my guild doesnt have a rank, you arent suddenly superior to me or anyone of the guilds below your league. Just because im not fast enough at re-skilling all my skills and attribs from helping friends that doesnt mean you can call me and my guild "the sh*test and noobiest guild/player ever".

This message goes to all players who think that just because they have something betetr than the person next to them that they are special and have the rights to put that person down.

posting people IGN's and ranting about a personal matter is a good way to get yourself banned from these forums.

I don't see it as a personal matter. He *uses* a personal matter as an example for his general statement that people shouldn't feel special/upper class just because they're in a high ranking guild.

If its just a rant, might get closed soon or fast if it becomes a flame fest should your "friend" you mention decide to reponse.

There is no arguement to what i said.
And if "he" wants to talk to me about it, he can do so in private.

And there may be no discussion value, but i hope its a valuble thing to remember for our "special" friends.

Are you seriously saying that you feel that the Fishmonger players aren't superior to you, when you have no Guild rank?

Sorry, but the communism revolution hasn't quite swept Tyria yet. Players with not only higher rank, but substantially higher rank aren't there because they're not good players. It's a meritocracy, and unless you can prove they aren't superior... well, they certainly do in that case have the right.

Sure it's not nice of them to act like that, but your rhetoric doesn't make it unjustified or deny them the the right.

I'm amazed. I really can't believe that some people think players in a guild with higher rank have a *right* to abuse other players. I mean wtf?

Seriously, you shouldn't even pay attention to what someone from *that* particular guild says. Being good at screenshotting other guilds' matches in order to get skill pins doesn't really make you any better at farming SF *rolleyes*
Ranking is easier to get than respect.

Having a higher rank may or may not mean your better than someone else. It may mean you spend waaayyy to much time in front of the PC or it maybe that your a gifted games person. Either way it is NO excuse for treating someone else with this sort of distain.
You see this sort of thing in just about any sport or event where there is any sort of rating or rewards system but that does not mean it's right. In fact it's plain wrong.
If your better than someone else why not try to help them out rather than put them down.
Don't just act like a bully and abuse them because they are not quite up to you standard.
One day you WILL meet someone better / more accomplished than you and I'm sure you'll want tips or help rather than abuse.

For goodness sake PLAY NICE, there is no excuse for bad behavior, it's just uncalled for and nasty.

Well every game have people that are not nice and others that are nice. A member from fish gvged for my friend's guild and their rating is under 900. I see people calling each other noobs all of the time, maybe because this guy is from fish you feel that he look down upon you.

Apparently not if they're insulting other players...

There is a difference between having the right, and being right. Please take the time to consider which is applicable here.
