Rt as secondary proffesion
Apocamentus
Hi on the preview event I made a paragon, which I wanted to have Rt as my secondary proffesion. But I couldn't find any of the trainers for it. So was it just for the preview that you can't have it? OR will it not be availible in the main game too? Or did I just not see the trainers too (this may have been the same for assassin, not sure).

As far as I know, you can't make a secondary or primary ritualist or assassin in Nightfall. As they are unique classes to Cantha, you'll propably have to travel to Senji's corner to switch your paragons second profession.

For your PvE character you will have to travel to Cantha and get closer to the Stars. Unless they have another option not yet shown.

You can't pick Rt or Zin as secondary or primary in chapter 1 either >_>
Even though there is free "pick your secondary in the menu" in Nightfall, your newly formed Elonian character could not, which leads me to beleive they are still going to have some sort of "Ascend before you can change it" thing in Nightfall.

I am just speculating here and I not sure if it will follow the other two chapters. But for starting out that will not change from the six core classes as it has been said here assassin and ritualist are native to Cantha. Perhaps once you reach the point of ascension assassin and ritualists secondary profession might add to the choices of changing the secondary in Nightfall.

If you own Factions, getting from Kaineng to Senji's won't take that long. Just two missions.

You know, ever since Factions FIRST arrived it has been made clear that Rits and Sins were going to be chapter-specific to Factions (just like Paragons and Dervishes in Nightfall).
If ANet continued to fully support every new profession through every chapter then by the time they had 12 differant professions in Chapyter 4 they would have to spend SO long designing the initial starter locations with all the differant trainers and such that the rest of the game would suffer for it (either by being cut-down or delayed).
Frankly I'm still shocked Rits and Sins were given new armour and skills for Nightfall. You really shouldn't be suprised that there were no Ritualist or Assasin trainers in Nightfall. Rits and Sins are unique to the 'Empire of the Dragon' (as stated in the lore many times) so *why* would you be able to make an Elona-born Rit or Sin?
It really isn't that hard to get to Senji's corner in Cantha. It's probbaly only 3missions in Nightfall before you can sail to Kaineng Centre and then Vizunah Square and Nahpui Quater.
