audible shouts

What do you think about making shouts audible ?
Wouldn't it be fun to hear paragon or warrior yelling "Incoming!", "Watch Yourself!" or "Never Give Up!" ?
Such feature could be switchable in options menu for those who don't like it.
What's your opinion ?

oh if they did that i would always bring 'You Will Die!' into battle just for the craic ^_^

Its cool enough that they have the little speech bubble. Besides, VIMWAY would just get REALLY annoying. Granted, an option to turn it off would be nice, but since when are specific skills able to have their sound effects turned off...

I already turn the sound off most of the time as it is because of using vent or listening to music. Most of the game sound effects get really old and annoying after awhile.

Would be ace for comedy value, and if it can be turned off I see no harm in it whatsoever.

Skill Speech - On/Off

Na, repeated phrases always get annoying after several times. Not to mention they'd have to made gender specific.
Although I wouldn't mind if there wsa an option to turn these phrases off.

This game lacks alot of special effects and such, but this would just become too annoying.

It would be fun, i think. But maybe a bit too much work.. then people would complain for different voices, blah blah blah.

When I said POINTLESS...it is because it wont add ANYTHING to the gameplay, neither to the immersion of the game or the design or ANYTHING...IF it was added it would be just to satisfy you and a hand full of other people...

One thing to bear in mind though, is that not everyone speaks english, so they'd probably have to have localised shouts. If you consider all the shouts that exist (especially with all the new paragon's) and multiply that by all the languages this game is available in (a decent amount of European countries, Korea, Japan, soon China...) that'd be a lot of work. Still, if it happened, I'd certainly enjoy it for at least a few days, before it went the way of the in game music, and got hit with the "mute" stick

Not even REMOTELY close...

Lips are a fundamental part of the immersion on the game...the storyline alltogheter is COMPLETELY diferent whith that feature...the cutscenes are a WHOLE different thing now...

And you said yourself that you would probably be turning it off... IF even YOURSELF have knowledge that these are not even near necessary AND even annoying after some time....why even bother spending developer's time creating such a thing?!?!?!
