a Flamingo skill?

I have played the Nightfall preview event and came quite far in those missions and quests, but there is one thing I still don't understand and didn't see or find. Is it true there is a skill that calls up to 6/8 flamingo's to fight with you?
Anyways, this video shows someone or ai is using a spell that spawns a bunch of flamingo's. :P

The guy probably used Otyugh's Cry.

Otugh's cry I assume.

Does Otyugh's Cry add the nearby charmable pets to your party list? I'd thought it just made them aggro against nearby enemies. With the mass resurrection, it looks like most of them are actually charmed and in the party.

In the video after the guy dies and is respawned he appears to summon the group of flamingos which isn't really how Otyugh's Cry works I don't think.

Best bug ever! That was the hero bug where heroes could have more than 1 pet at a time. ANet fixed it not long after the start though.

at the end it shows his skill bar and otuga's cry isnt in it. it must be a bug that allows him to have multiple pets.

Didn't see any logs about this bug. Still it's quite weird, cause in the video you see someone respawn and use a spell to spawn a bunch of flamingo's. So if these animals are some kind of minions, why does it show somewhere else in the video that 6 of them leveled up? As far I know Necromancer minions can't level up.

It's a bit weird, if it was a bug, well too bad I couldn't enjoy the fun when I was playing.

the hero seems to hgave something that looks like otyugh's cry. the quality isnt good enough to tell.

i found that the skill the hero uses is revive animal, its new so it my have been bugged during the beta testing.

That doesn't mean anything, maybe one of his allies had the skill. Maybe what caused the bug was giving one of the heroes otyugh's cry.

It seems that they had something like 12 Flamingos charmed by Koss. That would explain why they all followed him.

Also, the skill that the Dunkaro uses if Revive Animal.

Actually Revive Animal has been around since Prophecies and was not bugged. I remember some of the old iways used to bring it so they could have mobile IWAY .

Its a bug with Heroes in general. They actually aren't supposed to be able to have pets, I think it just let him keep charming them because of that. Note though, that he lost all of them if he zoned. And the only way to get that many was from that silly flamingo quest when you have to /shoo them away.

Yeah revive animal is a great skill: with 16 Beast mastery you can rez all the pets around with 100% health. However, even with a BM build I use to bring comfort instead because of the very low recharge/casting time (and eventually the healing effect ).

no they are allowed pets, anet explaind it wasnt working properly during the event.

though on the site it said heros wouldnt have pets during the event (without saying why) but people where still able too get it to work to some extent
