nightfall install question

if i receive guildwars nightfall before the release date and install it(i know i wouldn't be able to play until global release)would my account be deleted?

no, it wont be deleted. Technically, we will all have it installed before the release date since they will stream all the data to us before hand, but we just wont be able to play it. For example, I hever had to put my Factions disk into my computer to play, it was all there already.

Are you sure its just not the pre order?

If you mean if they ship you the game box early cause you ordered online; I don't think it'll even let you add the serial key to your account til the game officiall goes live.

its not the bonus pack, i already have that key on my account, i'm talking about the real game.

If you get Nightfall before the release date, instaling it, techinically, will do nothing. The CD is just for people to use if they haven't installed GW on their computer yet.

Now if you get Nightfall before the release date and try to add the key to your account, one of two things will probably happen.

1) You can't add it to your account until the release date,

or

2) You add it, but it doesn't do anything untill Nightfall's acual release date. Maybe, it will let you use the extra slots you get with merging accounts.

I'm pretty sure it's the second one.

Now I've seen retailers ship games early before, but more than three weeks early?! I didn't think any retailers would even have them in yet.

If you add the key early, you won't notice any difference in-game until it goes live on the 27th. It'll be similar to the PcGamer pet key. It's there, just not active.
