Game of the year weapons can't be salvaged!

I need a specifc change for the GOTY edition. I placed a 10k health +30 grip
on a hammer that already had a sundering 20/20 haft on it from the factory.
I cannot salvage the +30!! Change the game, please.

they behave like collector items which cannot be salvaged

No, collector weapons cannot be salvaged. Collector armors and crafter weapons can be salvaged.
