question about platinum sickles (and i PC i guess)

i was wondering if platinum sickles were rare or not cause i've never seen or knew about it until one droped for me today and i don't know if i should merchant cause they suck or try to sell them off

Cold Dmg 7-17 (req. 10 dagger mastery)
Damage +14 (vs. hexed foes)
Armor +5

It's rare & wanted skin yup,

this one has bad dmg mod though & salvaging/merching would be best option.
