Will Phopheries / Factions character be able to get heros?

No. You must buy Nightfall in order to get heroes

I'm going to say yes, they are a key feature, and Anet will let everyone who buys nightfall get to test them out. Not sure if they can get the heroes from the starter island, though.

I assume no (if you mean adventuring outside of Nightfall)

the enhanced Compass with henchman flag commands will be available to all chapters (as we saw during the preview weekend)

Yes of course i will buy nightfall, but will my phoperhies and faction chars be able to get heros on nightfall as well as nightfall born chars?

@Empex, it is a key feature, but a key feature of Nightfall. Just as alliance battles were a feature of Factions, Heroes are a feature of Nightfall as every hero you get ties into the Nightfall storyline. You must buy Nightfall to have them.

Yes but your proph and nightfall characters need to do the nightfall storyline obviously. I'm not sure if you'll be able to get the heroes on the noobie island but the heroes from then on shoudl be available to us

On some missions and quests you need to have certain heroes with you - so you propably get all the heroes that an elonan character can get, if only to advance in the plot.

I hate the way boards fill up with nothing but speculation and unanswerable questions, right before a new game is released, but this one has a pretty obvious answer.

To the actual question the OP asked: Yes. When a Tyrian or Canthan character travels to Elona and goes through the missions, they will get heroes.

Kamadan is going to be the port city for Nightfall, so logically, you can get those heroes (except Koss maybe...)
